how about when you deconstruct any equipment with enchantment, you have a chance to recover one or two piece of rune.

No reason for that as there is plenty of means to obtain enchanting matts. They are easy to obtain, especially now be when the game launched. Additionally, an enchantment is considered a consumable so it is consumed when used/added to gear Therefore no longer extractable.

If you want to level up enchanting fast, you need to find a buddy a deconstruct each other's glyphs. No joke, I was able to level up my enchanting from level 22 to like 43 in one day. Both partners just need either a bunch of runes or a bunch of gold (like 50k) to buy the runes and you can become a master enchanter over night

Yea, i don't think enchanting needs to be made any easier. If anything the other crafts need to be harder. it is way to easy to level ANY of them up. Just my perspective though

Lol, true. I leveled two characters to max enchanting before they made it easier. Good suggesting to him to find an enchanting buddy to improve ip gains. Like how they have that benefit in an mmo.

Enchanting feels easy enough, i do not see the need to change it.

In any MMO where something is made easier, the fun factor has dropped for me. Same for single player games too though.

Well enchanting used to be extremely hard to level. I mean really white enchants gave you almost nothing and had to use blue/purp enchant crafted by another player.

Now i'd say get a friend to send you all the runes he finds by mail or buy them for 150 gold at guild store.

Enchanting is fine. Enchanting in the beginning took a really long time to level, they actually lowered the xp needed to level it about 1/2 a year ago.

It is not really about leveling. i don't mind if i level slow. even if they make it ten times harder i wouldn't complain. But it is just hard to make full set of enchanting glyph to use. i can make one or two but thats it. i have collect and decon everything since first day till vr6 and i still couldn't craft one set for my friend.

p.s. was trying to make those white ones, yea.. npc sale them. but personally i enjoy crafting..

i don't need more exp, i just need more white rune so i can craft them as i level. i can craft myself equipment as i level, but i can't do the same for glyph.

Yes, but a single "node" for enchanting only ever gives one rune. A single node of Wood, or Ores can give up to 6 pieces and other stuff besides.

I have Rune Extraction at maximum and I get a rune back on way less than 30% of deconstructions.

So while many of the mats are readily available I still contend that Runes are the "least readily available", and that does mean something if you understand the correct use of the language.

Unless you have Plentiful Harvest. I once had a node give me both a Kuta and a Rekuta thanks to Plentiful Harvest... And regular nodes of ore, wood, and cloth plants only give 3-4 raw mats, not up to 6 (again, unless you have Plentiful Harvest, in which case they can give up to 8).

I'd agree with you that runes are less readily available than raw mats for woodworking, blacksmithing, and clothing, but don't forget that you need more mats to craft an item than to make a glyph - especially when you consider that you lose some of the raw mats in the refining process before you ever get to the point of making a piece of equipment.

3~4 raw mat can be craft into 2~3 ignot. same thing really. it is not a 10:1 ratio, it is a 10: 7~10 ratio.

also if you look at alchemy you do get more then one every time you harvest.

Finding enough runes to enchant your armor is difficult. I usually just purchased enchants from the vendors: an option no longer available to me now that my gear is veteran rank. So I've had to forego enchanting most of my gear because of this.

the real question is should we be able to make basic white glphy? or enchanting is only for making rare glyph? because from level 1 to vr 6 i collect/decon everything and couldn't make a full set myself.

And thats is why i want to make enchanting easier. Because with enchanting so hard, people usually do not run vet before v14. which force everyone to be maxed before doing anything end game...

Same apply for level 1~50, not everyone is willing to buy full set of glyph for content before reaching 50. and that is why it is so hard to find group to do dungeon..

p.s. plus decon will likely only yield white rune.. it will not ruin your business.

edit: it also apply to pvp.. aside from level/equipment difference. people who are not v14 will not likely have full enchanted equipment.

I sometimes buy 30+ white VR14 runes from a trader......

    Why?

Because I can get enough potency and essence runes from deconstruction to actually make a profit when making high level purple glyphs from them.

I have found this only works when deconstructing high numbers of glyphs at the same time, hence the 30+ figure :)

as i said, this is not about making purple/gold glyph.

this is about being able to make WHITE/GREEN Rune for leveling and none end game content.

p.s. think about it.. how many purple item with enchant can you decon really?
