Rawl'kha 10 seconds to log out from bank?

Why every time i want to log out my character from Rawl'kha Bank i have to wait 10 seconds but there is no problem in logging out instantly from other banks like Elden Root, Marbruk, Riften, Vulkhel Guard?

It's based on whether the game considers you to be inside a (major) town, or outside a town. The borders of the towns as far as the game is concerned aren't necessarily what we might think they should be. In Rawl'Kha the bank is just outside that border, while in Riften the stables outside the walls are within the border.

Actually, part of the bank building interior is considered in town and part of it is out of town. Makes no sense, but that's how it is.

Actually, part of the bank building interior is considered in town and part of it is out of town. Makes no sense, but that's how it is.

Really? Part of it is inside the border? So all this time I've been leaving the bank and jumping off the stairs in the direction of the stables for no reason? Well dang. Good to know!

The guild traders are out of town, the dye station (15 feet that way --->) is in town

I have gotten to the point that I never log out while in Rawl"kha. I at least go across the bridge or down the road behind the stables. Not all the time, but often enough, I have issues logging back into characters in that town. One in particular has the problem all the time, others rarely.

I have also adopted other crafting Hubs as my home, Stormhold for instance is just as nice and compact as the Rock. Betnikh is also a good place to craft.

never noticed this at all. ALL log-outs, for me, are random and can take from 0-10 seconds and usually most are 8-9 seconds. does not matter where i am. i have always considered it to be the server queing me for log-off.

Yeah, I encountered that for the first time a few days ago (although I had heard of it happening a lot in Rawl'kha from other people in-game and on the forums), and I couldn't log in on one of my characters there for a full hour (maybe longer - I gave up trying and went to a bar

), although I could log into my other characters fine. Since then I've moved all of my characters who I used to park there to different locations.

I had to stop using Rawl'kha as my go-to business/crafting place because of the overcrowding. Seems all the role players hang out there just standing around casting spells creating an internet traffic jam. If you have a crafting toon parked there, sometimes you cannot even login to them.

Thanks for the log off explanation guys. I often wondered why there was sometimes a time delay, but not always. Just never cared enough to dig deeper.

I highly doubt it's role players hanging out there casting spells...

Never log of in Rawl"kha or Reaper's March. That zone has major issues with infinite loading screens because it is AFK hangout headquarters.

Can't wait to hang around there in the console version playing some Rick Astley.
