Will We Get Imperial City With Console Release?

I am getting really bored and starting to look at other games, I love ESO and want to stay but I am (like many others) getting content starved. Any news on how LONG after console launch we have to wait? lol

Anybody who spends a fair amount of time in Cyrodiil knows that the Imperial City will not be released this summer or probably even this fall. With the performance issues that are happening on a regular basis any further stress on the server would probably just blow it up for good. And hundreds (or thousands) of additional players trying to cram into Cyrodiil now would certainly do the trick.

They have already stated multiple times that there will NOT be any additions to the game until AFTER the console release. Do not look for anything until around October 2015.

Well, suppose its back to World of Warcraft then

Cant have fun with this game for another 5+ months with no new content.

Just saying, theres no one who have any educated guess on how long after console release we will see a big update. Might be in late June, might be in November.

Just to make it clear, its all speculation.

It's more of an educated guess than speculation. PVP has NEVER seen a content update, and is still plagued with the same performance problems. It's been 6 months since any PvE content of value has been released. They've said all of their focus is on the console release right now. It's not unreasonable to assume there won't be any updates until the Fall at the earliest.
