NPC dialgoue delayed

Hi guys,
Had this happen to me several times, you know when talking to NPC's that give quests sometimes the dialogue is delayed for a couple of seconds and there is no longer any talking animation. The quests themselves don't seem to be affected i'm just wondering if this has anything to do with server lag? or latency? My ping is usually around 245-280 when these happen w/c is 2 bars coz i'm playing from Asia.

✭This seems to have been another gift provided to us in 1.6, I see it even with latency at 50-70.
I find it's especially noticeable on vendors who always used to begin to speak the moment you clicked them in the time it took to open the item dialog, now I rarely hear them talk at all in the time it takes to get the dialog up., but I also see it like you with quest givers.0 -
VaXuS✭So it's got nothing to do with latency, that's good. I thought it was another thing brought upon by my relatively high ping(240-300) But anyway thanks for your input. Its more immersion ruining than anything, had it happen again with a new character fresh out of the tutorial when talking to the prophet.
