Reimbursement!

Hello there, I was idiot enough whilst on a mad deconstruction spree that I accidentally deconstruced my Light armor v14 Belt of Ashens Grip legendary upgraded....wondering if I could get that reimbursed? Needs to be some sort of Lock item or a double confirmation for legendary deconstructs Happened just like that!

Not likely to happen.

As for "double confirmation", no thanks, we don't need any more "are you sure" and "are you really, RFEALLY sure" dialogs the game has too many of those already .. just paying attention is all the defense you need to prevent accidents.

There are add-ons (item saver for instance but I'm sure it's not the only one out there) to prevent you from such accidents happening.

I'm one of those people that *** up. I have a brain that shuts down, I'm guilty of irrational behaviour when distracted or tired. So mistakes will be made a few times a year.

In other games it's always been fine, their customer support tends to offer a 3 strike derp protection. You get a lecture and than they restore your item or currency or whatever you messed up. But in ESO they literally cant help you. If they lack the right to do it, the technical tools or both, I dont know.

So I would to appreciate the ability to lock gear, or put it in some kind of secured part of the inventory. That would save me a lot of trouble. I'm actually always nervous when I'm about to deconstruct a lot of stuff, scared of destroying something irreplaceable again.

But I dislike double confirmations. Sounds annoying. Also a bit pointless, considering how a lot of non-legendary gear is equally valuable or even more expensive and rare. There's blue and purple gear being worth 200% more than golden.

Because your special pleading for this can be echoed 100 times with others who equally didn't pay attention with whatever it was they did wrong and now want to inflict yet more "are you really, really sure" rubbish on those who are perfectly capable of taking an extra second or two to CHECK WHAT THEY ARE DOING!

Call it whatever bull.... you like, I call it simple carelessness.
