Please Don't Offer Race Changes (Poll)

Instead of offering race changes, balance racials as they are without drastically changing them up, so people who chose their race to match their build don't find that their build suddenly doesn't work. I like that some choices are permanent, and your race should really be the most permanent of your permanent choices. If you do introduce race changes, then people will likely start asking for class changes as well... after all, your class seems to hold less permanence than your race, so why not?

... And if you absolutely must introduce race (and possibly class) changes, please make them cost a ton of crowns.

EDIT: To clarify, Option 4 means you want a race change because ZOS changed racials drastically or you want one IF ZOS changes racials drastically.

My option is missing. It is " I don't want race changes, but I'll probably use it if given the option."

That said, I seriously doubt that race changes are going to be what people are expecting. I expect that the look of your race will be separated from the bonuses that they grants, in order to satisfy the whiners. They will probably give everyone access to all of the racial passives, and you'll just be able to pick the four you want. A race change will probably end up being just a cosmetic change.

If you don't care then presumably you wouldn't use it, unless you mean you actually want a race change but won't make a fuss about it if it's never added... in which case choose one of the "I want to change my race" options.

i want to change my race because i bored with my race i want to be an argonian i don't care about racials passives i dont like permanent things in games and im not going to reroll after soo much invesment on my char i would rather quit playing. And i dont like your idea about high price on race change -.-

Allow it, but allow it only once. That way people have to think about their decision rather than change every two minutes. Of course this won't happen - because ZOS need the cash

This might be the most biased poll I have ever seen on this forum. I refuse to even vote on it.

Many many months ago I rolled a Breton NB because I wanted a Bow/melee Rogue type character and stamina SUCKED. Since then ZoS has made many changes to magicka/stamina builds including making some of the best NB skills cost stamina. Hense now through no fault of my own, my character is no longer optimal for the kind of playstyle I envisioned when I created it.

This isn't because of bad choices at character creation, this is because ZOS changed everything. Considering the ridiculous grind to V14 there is no way I am going to trudge through it all again and reroll my character just because of developmental decisions that I had zero control over.

I am usually the last person to support any kind of entitlement, but in this situation people that had established characters effected by ZoS decisions and not their own, should at least have the option to purchase a race change.

And finally, why do you even care? It has zero effect on you.

People worried about pay to win, because of racial imbalances people fear the only race anyone will ever see is altmer breton imperial

You guys realize this could be a money sink for ZoS. They could make changes every few months to force people to pay for the change so their character is in sync with the system!

You mean ZOS might offer race changes for a while, then when they see the market settle down they change racial bonuses again so people want another change? That would be like offering some items for sale and reduce their drop rate in game to funnel people towards the crown shop.....

That doesn't fit his opinion though, the Racials don't need drastic changing - there are a couple that need to be brought in line, but nothing that would be considered "drastic".

even the one i chose implies that racials need changing.

No option in the poll should require an opinion on whether the racials be balanced or not, you want unbiased option?

Maybe it's worded poorly, but the option isn't meant to be "I think racials should be drastically changed", it's "I want a race change because/if they drastically change racials".

Until VR levels are removed and Champion points take over for unlocking higher level gear it is unfeasible to grind a new character - with the changes made recently, Race changing is necessary. After Veteran levels are removed we can talk about forcing people to grind a new character when it's only 1-50 of the most hilariously easy content ever.

Lore isn't a huge part of the game for me. I chose racials last year that matched the build I envisioned at the time in order to make an efficient build. That no longer applies through no fault of my own.

I just want the bloody option. I'm currently happy with my racial choices, but do believe this should have been one of the first items in the cash shop.

Personally I am against it because it's more pandering to the crowds and obviously just going to be another Crown Store cash grab they know they can get away with.

The problem with it will simply be we won't see many of the "bad" races because everyone's going to be a Breton, Altmer or Bosmer.

End of the day it's going to happen because no one can stop ZO$ when they get an idea in their heads, I will just shrug it off and continue to play this sinking game hoping to get some enjoyment out of it before they entirely ruin it.

We already have "Any race any pact" option. We already have people transforming into spooky skeleton costume whenever they want and illusionist/conjurublahblah temporary transforming anyone into any race.

Anything is possible if you just say "Magical potion" so you can't really go "Ermahgerd lore!". The whole thing is like a big book where you have a defined start and end but the content is missing so you can just keep adding anything into the gap. If you want lore there there's always a weaker version of Amulet of King for race change since the real one already gives you super saiyan power.

Race change is going to be under "Cosmetic" and the more cosmetic options around, the better. The crown store should be for that anyway. Stop worrying too much about min-max in a game where PVP is focused on group and the "Masterace" thing doesn't even affect PvE much since it only contributes to like... what? 1-2% of what makes the game easier. Current champion system now decide more who has the advantage if you grinds alot and going like "WELL, MAYBE IN 2 YEARS AFTER I MAXED EVERYTHING THEN XXX MASTER RACE WILL BE AT AN ADVANTAGE"

By then we will probably have even more stuffs to make racial trait even less significant with 10-20 more stuffs to add to the stack list.

Race Change is now such an integral part of the MMO scene that any game that doesn't offer it really shouldn't be classed as AAA rated games.

Adding Race/Faction change hurts NOBODY and actually adds to the company's bottom line as many Players would use the service. To all those who are emphatically against it, the rest of us don't care about your opinion. YOU don't have to use the service if it's made available but it SHOULD be an option for those who wish to use it. It's like people saying they don't want a Burger King in their town because they won't eat there. Fine, don't eat there, but for those who would eat there let them have that option.

The exact same thing can be said for small form PvP (Arena, Battlegrounds and the like), Name change, Barber Shop, etc. Just because YOU don't want it doesn't mean there aren't Players who DO want it and would use/play it if given the choice.
