First, I'd like to thank ZOS for agreeing to cease the cross-screen ads that we saw last weekend, as confirmed by @ZOS_JessicaFolsom this morning. Such great news!

I'd like to ask further, however, if subscribers will be able to opt-out of all in-game marketing messages going forward (i.e. marketing messages/ads that don't appear on launcher or login screen)?This is standard for any subscription-based service and should be part of ESO Plus.

@ZOS_GinaBruno or @ZOS_JessicaFolsom can you please clarify this for us?

    You are expected as a subscriber to also buy crowns and purchase stuff advertised in the game.

    I know i have been playing this game for over two weeks . I got to ask what cross-screen ads? I don't recall any at all

    I vote yes.... Why else would we want to keep a Subscription? The current bonuses are worthless IMO.

    No, this would be unreasonable. Other games let you pay to remove ads from other companies but not the company that actually produces the game.

    Agreed. Current subscription bonuses just aren't worth it.

    That brings me to another point actually. It's very depressing that a subscription must be "rewarded" with something at all. In the early 2000's, a subscription meant the ability to play the game with a somewhat binding agreement that continued content additions, class balances, bug fixes, and server conditions would be managed with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

    Understandably, this cannot happen in this game since the recent switch to the B2P model. But one would assume the benefits (which shouldn't be affecting XP gain rate, player progression, or anything of the like) would be more attuned to customer satisfaction. Just the barebones fact that the game is a TES title doesn't give them enough.

    How about this:
      - Additional Dyes - Special Costume Options - Specific Mounts - Zero Advertisement - More Transparency on "How the Gears Turn" - Much More Community Involvement from Community Managers

    The list can go on and on. Subscription, B2P, F2P... this game still has so much potential. The current path of moving more towards the Crown Shop is only going to drive more and more away.

    Sure. I was really hoping someone from ZOS would address this. I think it would stem the tide of cancellations if they clarified this for subscribers.
