Yep, another one of those threads.

Does ZOS really expect this shoddy performance to continue until after console release?

I've tried to support ESO by keeping an ESO+ membership, but enough is enough. If they don't care enough about us PC players to make us a priority over console release, then they aren't going to get my $15 a month anymore.

This is not a ragequit post...I'll still continue to play PvE as long as it interests me. But I can't justify giving ZOS another red cent until they fix Cyrodiil.

Luckily, that is now an option for me with B2P.

I have yet to encounter any lag issues in PvP outside of people joining a raid since that UI lag is atrocious. Also it's hilarious you are upset they are focusing their efforts to make a deadline that would be costly for them not to make. Of course they are going to focus their efforts, that's just a ridiculous thing to claim that it's unfair for some reason.

I did Cyro 12 hours straight yesterday. Very little problems. Rebooted computer once, which fixed some errors that poped up after hours of no problems.

ESO have longer loading times and sometimes needs to be restarted since 6-8 weeks ago. But they have done something good about lag lately. Lag is very much improved. Still exist but vastly improved in Cyro vs a few months ago.

Some new lag is caused by the Crown shop since all players needs to be connected to it. (Its an own software/service). The lag is based on so many players who needs to be connected all the time. Same reason why the guild bank stalls and your personal bank don't.

My base for this isn't my opinion. Playing daily with Cyro in big battles, Craglorn, Groups, dungeons, crafting etc, is. After weeks and months of improved game play on my end, it's simply not possible to be "just me".

Nope, don't need you to fix anything. It was correct as written.

Perhaps you don't remember the advertisements stating massive multiplayer AvA with hundreds of players at a time?

If by "PvP" you mean "farming XP in some dungeon that happens to be in cyrodiil", then I am inclined to believe you.
If by "PvP" you mean "ganking PvE players in some remote locations on the map", then I find it difficult to believe that you would not encounter any lag at all. But I would agree that the lag for those situations is within acceptable limits most of the time.
If by "PvP" you mean "fighting for scrolls and emperor keeps during prime-time", then I call you a liar. Sorry, but there is no way to not experience serious lag while fighting for the main objectives in cyrodiil - unless one does said fighting only at 3 am.

@Valymer I completely agree on both of your postings.
I'm a PvE solo player, but also there it's the same problem. As long as the game runs as it does at the moment (or does not run), I won't support it anymore either.
(Edit: I've seen your next post too late^^)

yup, all i ever see is MAYBE 10 or so people on screen at once, then the game lags like crazy, anything more and the chance of a crash goes up exponentially.

Exactly, as the tri-faction keep battle earlier on Chillrend pointed out oh so well.

Which by the way was about 50 players total I'd guess, nowhere near the "hundreds" purported.

I was running in NA chillrend yesterday around 9:30 PM EST time.

There was so much lag that I've just quit for the night, I was done with it after 30mins of not being able to cast any spell.

PvP has been overwhelmed with immense lag for 9 months.....

ZOS needs to fix it now, the console players will go thru the same crap if its not.

I find it strange people in my own group can be getting lag when we are standing side by side, I am not having a lag problem at the same time, have to say one thing that is consistent is the bugs and lag is inconsistent. The past few days I have had some great battles and big battles with little to no lag, today I might log in and have a lag fest.

Well, I quit ESO a few months after launch because Cyrodiil was basically unplayable for me. Terrible lag, rollbacks, whole teams DCing, and various other bugs (not to mention the vast gear gap pre-non-vet).

However, I have been playing regularly for the last month or so and it has been smooth sailing overall. As far as I can see the devs have really cleaned up a lot of the problems mentioned above and the game is quite a blast now (I only play BB though, so maybe other campaigns are bad for some reason?).

Its still a lot more buggy than various other mmo's I have played, but the improvement is just astounding imo. They have definitely been working on it as far as I can see.

They're actually counting on the fact that the #'s will go innately go down. Each person transferring and then playing on console is not, at the same time, playing on PC.

That makes sense. Has nothing to do with me though, I will still be playing on PC (for free)

I guess if they are willing to lose even more subs, nothing we can do will convince them that our version of the game is worth fixing.
