ESO Plus Suggestion

I think the ESO Plus bonuses need to be reworked and be broken down into different tiers. Having done a PLUS one month thing i've come to the conclusion that for 14.99 the 10% bonuses and crowns is really not worth it at all. Won't be doing that again since all I really care about is the exp gain that comes from it.

For 14.99 i truly believe the "+10% Upgrade to Character Progression" should be more along the lines of 30-50%. Make it worthwhile to purchase, not a dismal 10%

For a better breakdown for a suggestion

$4.99= 500 Crowns and +15% Upgrade to Character Progression
$9.99= 1000 Crowns and +30% Upgrade to Character Progression
$14.99= 1500 Crowns and +50% Upgrade to Character Progression

You would get way more sales overall with better bonuses, or still have a cheapy for some cash. But yea the current 14.99 is utter garbage for the price. Again though, those numbers are just a suggestion that I think would be good, purely my opinion.

Priority queuing in PvP would be good too, plenty of way better models out there, e.g Premium for the Battlefield 3/4 games, ESO Plus is the most underwhelming package ever.

Yea dude I was thinking the same thing for sure. The game is fun to grind out the first time around, but the game has been out for quite a while, tons of new changes since retail launch.

Would love to make new characters but for the love of dear baby jesus i'm not going to go through that ridiculous grind again. But given the opportunity (the suggestion that I gave in my original post) with the exp bonuses I most certainly would.

Win at what? Bonus to exp is just a gap closer for exp gained in a long run. In no way shape or form would exp gain give an unfair advantage. Anything dropped in game, crafted, or won by pvp grind can all be done/acquired without anything. So really all the exp gain would do would give us normal working folks a faster leveling program, thats it.

Just another huge time sink, which is what my suggestion would help close the gap from no lifers to normal working class people.

Either way, it was merely a suggestion. But to me 14.99 for 10% exp gain is not worth it.

It's just that there is no DLC at the moment. Bring out the DLC Zenimax. The subscribers deserve it!

Let's be realistic. 50% seems pretty ridiculous.
I definitely support the idea of multiple tiers but $4.99 is too low, since the subscription will include future DLC.
25% could be 30% as well, but doubling the difference for only $5 seems unlikely.

I would be more than happy with the $9.99 model.

That's a good idea as well. Separate the DLC from the lower tiers and charge only for the crowns and upgrade to progression
And yeah, I get where you were going. I definitely like the idea, I just thought they would be very unlikely to do 50% at only $15.

Not going to lie though, if they did have lets say a $19.99 for 50% exp I so would do it. Just makes coming home from work to level that much better haha. I'm sure there would be quite a bit of people that would very easily do $19.99 for 50% exp gains without hesitation.

I would say ~20%xp bonus, maybe a mount you can only use while subscribed, and they should bring back some kind of weekly or monthly loyalty rewards. Otherwise, there isnt a reason to keep a 15/mo.. 10% boost just isn't worth it, although at least you get the crowns if you like the shop items.. So I guess as long as they update the store with fair priced items its ok and something I'd stick to because I like cosmetic, but they could offer more for sure.

I don't think having anything higher than 10% is a good idea. People would be shrieking about P2W until they were blue in the face. But it would be nice to see some other aspects of the sub bonuses improved. An extra character slot, added bank space, or some free respecs per month would make me feel a little better about giving Zeni my money. I think it's a pretty reasonable thing to ask.

I do think it's important to keep the bonuses out of the P2W arena, however. Convenience only. I don't want anyone to feel pressured to have a subscription.

Completely agree that the bonus scaling would be optimal to what we have currently in sub offerings. That said, I also agree with @Auricle that everyone's going to scream bloody murder over the "P2W" implications of it- even if it's mainly just a time boost in essence.

Being someone who manages a department and works full-time, it would be attractive to me in that I don't have tons of time to play during the work-week, and sometimes even on the weekends, depending on projects. For those who don't have a lot of time to sink into the game because of RL responsibility, I can see where this would be attractive to them as well.

I truly do not understand how increase exp rate is p2w lol. So you just level up faster, that's it, how is that paying to win haha. I guess people will always have something to *** about regardless of zero factual proof.

That pretty much sums up for the majority of the normal working class people that don't have a lot of time to play, which is why I suggested this type of thing.

P2W indicates anything that provides an significant advantage over free players.
In my opinion any sort of subscription bonus is excluded from P2W classification so long as that subscription is priced fairly and competitively so that it is plausible for each player. They could have 50%+ as long as it was priced under a standard and affordable price.
P2W, to me, is more like items that give an immediate advantage such as better gear, consumables, mounts, or allows massive (temporary) exp boosts or level skipping. A 30% boost seems entirely fair.

Yea thats pretty much everyones gripe right now haha. Also its smart marketing to milk what they can with the garbage bonuses you get with the $14.99 one. Until people stop buying that and the sales flatten, they will keep it at that. Only a drop in sales with they actually start boosting exp rates and everything to make it more attractive to lure in buyers again.

I agree, ESO plus membership should be increased to atleast 30 - 50% bonus exp gain. Right now 10% isnt worth paying for.

I hope not they increase XP gains. I like to complete zones fully when leveling while they aren't all greyed out.. That would actually push me from subbing.

Bonusses are fine.. I just want new content (the main reason I sub is for DLC).

Yeah but another problem with eso plus

We would only rent the dlc so if we stop eso plus after 6 months boom no dlc for you now and you have to pay the full amount.

I would like to see also that if you sub for six months that any dlc in that time becomes yours after.

Going above +10% would imo be bad.. I still miss the option to turn it off too.. My sorcerer is only about 2/3 throuh Glenumbra and the quests are starting to turn grey :-/
