[Console Transfer] Question

I purchased the transfer offer for XBOne and the only I know with an XBOne is my brother.
So my question here is, will I be able to download that copy onto a separate HDD?

See, my intention is to receive my character copies on a separate HDD because I don't have console yet. Theres a deadline to receive the copies, I think, and I don't want to miss it.

They aren't going to send you a download of your character, they're just going to give you some type of redemption code. You character will be on the server either way, no need to download anything before a cut off. The expiration date is when you have the purchase the transfer by.

I assume it will work like the PC version, where your characters, bank, etc. are saved on the server and you can log in to it from any Xbox with the game installed.
