I'm disappointed as much as the next guy, but that's a pretty big overreaction.

And this is what happens when you disrespect someone.

Your post would be getting lit up with them.
It's all good though...everyone just uses insightful instead of using it for its actual intended purpose.

Nope sorry, not everyone is using insightful. The number of lol lots of people had were significantly higher then the insightfuls. Nice try tho.
But .. but .. you get an EPIC WEAPON, which of course due to the way it's selected means there's a 66% chance it'll be no good for you!Alphashado wrote: »I get such a kick out of this every time I finish Cadwell's Gold. Your reward for Countless hours and around 50 quests:
And a whopping chunk of gold and XP:
It really is quite silly. I can't imagine a less appropriate award. C'mon man!

You didn't put any unrewarded effort into finishing that questline though.
Cadwell's Silver and Gold simply represent your finishing the main lines of the other factions in the game. It's not like you weren't rewarded along the way for completing that content.

I really wished this was true!I_killed_Vivec wrote: »Though when this topic was first raised, many months ago, there was a rumour that said that if you took Meridia's gift back to your starter island and asked around you could find an old woman who'd tell you Cadwell's story. Just how long are you going to be killing how many mobs to get 10m XP .. without using an XP exploit? Given ZOS nerfed to Oblivion all the Craglorn XP spots as well as most others, grinding 10M to get to VR10 then anoth 4M to get to VR14 seems somewhat less than enticing.[What's the point of even having the Silver and Gold quests? As someone mentioned above you can get more XP from just killing a couple groups of mobs.

My kids are grown now, but when they were little tykes, both of them (on separate occasions) kicked me right in the nads. I still love my sons. But I recall it hurting. Alot.
Those precious moments in time are STILL BETTER THAN THIS REWARD!

At least you get something, although a resell value in the neighborhood of 280 would make it feel worth something.
This is still a better reward than what you get for sitting through the three Hobbit movies or reading the three Fifty Shades books. I'm not sure those feelings of post-consumption emptiness can ever be filled.
This is how I felt.
