Hi guys, so I have just reached level 20 and I am still a little unsure how to exactly play my character. I have used a destruction staff, healing staff and a bow and I am still wondering what to do.

My main goal would be to heal in dungeons and use bow as DPS but then this will require me to change gear and attributes a lot wouldn't it? I need help in deciding... I have always played Cleric's and ranged DPS in other MMO's and especially love the look of the Templar gear as they level :D

Can anyone help me?

    Stamina needed for bow dps. Medium gear needed for bow dps. Light gear needed for magicka regen. Magicka needed for healing. You are in a bind. If end goak goak is to heal dungeons than go light gear and resto. But for leveling you can go mix of medium and light and focus on stamina because damage is name of game in leveling. Use magicka for BOL for survivability.

    Thank you for the advise... at this point I am leaning more towards to Ranged DPS side of the Templar and go mostly magicka :) Thanks again!

    While your levelling I would not worry about it too much, you'd be better off wearing some of everything and levelling up all armour types in my opinion.

    Same with weapon skills. That way you will have more flexibility later in 'life' .
    Unless your planning on healing a lot you can also afford to be more utility while elveling.

    Enchants and food will help.

    Solar flare, sun fire, jabs, shield and heal with resto and a similar bar with what ever weapon skills you like would see you through.

    Put an insta heal on your bar and jabs with the heal morph and put what ever you want in the other slots... at level 1-50 it does not matter what armor or weapon you use. If you are planning for "vet levels" then that is a different story.

    I am leveling a Templar naked right now (no armor or weapon) and am level 36 with only 2 deaths... I am testing when the game gets "hard" I'm guessing VR2or3 I will have to put on some armor.
