Alliance points - account wide

Dear Zenimax,

Please make Alliance points as one pool, available to all characters on the account.

I have an old character v12 with tons of AP but i don't play it any more. I was thinking about using collected AP to get some gear to my new v14 but maximum level i can buy is v13 items. Is silly that I can buy those v13 items and sell them to other players (converting into cash) but I cannot buy v14 items to my other character.

I know that some people here we cry a loud that it is game breaking but for others who don't play enough to have multiple v14 characters it would be a convenient change.

Can any1 from Zenimax comment if change like this is possible or maybe being already considered?

I'm not trying to be antagonistic, but why not just quickly level the character?

I hate grind and levelling v12 to v14 is not that quick to me, more like 2 weeks of gameplay. Besides of that I just don't feel like playing the other character. I can transfer or items, gold but i cannot do anything useful with AP points.

At this rate we are going to run out of ideas for what to make account wide!
Ooh, how about levels so all my chars can be vr 14 upon creation now. Man, I am a genius, think I should start a thread.

Now, regarding the ops issue, I do think it makes no sense you are restricted on what level gear you can buy.

#7 you talking to me? My old v12 is DK and I don't feel like playing him. My new v14 is Sorcerer but with the time i can spend on PvP it will take another half a year to get enough AP for what i need from elite vendor.

Sure i can get 2x v13 ring of cyrodill light, sell for 50k each and buy one v14 from the guild trader but what i am asking for is to make it simpler for people in my situation.

You realize, that making AP account wide means you are making those bonus skill points unlock to automatically. That can be a lot of free skill points.

You realize, that making AP account wide means you are making those bonus skill points unlock to automatically. That can be a lot of free skill points.

AP, those green crystals next to your gold amount in the inventory window can be changed into currency. This way it would not affect anything of what are you saying about. IF i can deposit green crystals to bank and withdrawn with other character it would not increase the rank progress of another character.

I dont think the achieves and such should be transfered but I don't see any reason that AP points couldn't be deposited into bank for use by another character. They are basically another form of currency is all.

The second part was more relevant to your actual post - while account wide is a possible solution, another, even simpler solution would simply be that your char is not restricted by his level. There is no reason why the game should not allow your VR12 to buy VR14 gear. In pve you can go to a merchant that sells gear at higher level than you, why is that freedom removed in PvP?

yeah, that was my initial thought. First i checked elite vendor at v13 and I noticed that my v12 character can already buy v13 items. I thought that upon levelling my v13 to v14 the v12 character will get access to v14 items but they stay on v13.
I just hate the idea of grinding PvP to get this item ob different character with limited time i can play at all.

I would understand, if these items were bound on pick up, so each character has to earn AP to get them. But right now, those players with abundant amount of AP can trade these items for a very good money but I cannot use collected AP for my own use.

I had no idea the elite gear vender didnt sell you v14 items if you were too low level. Are you sure that's the way it is?

yup. My v12 character sees v13 items and my v14 one sees v14 items on the same vendor.
