Is this fine or would people see it as pay to win?

only skill line i think that shouldn't be sold is Emperor.

    No, it`s not ok.

These must be acquired in game, selling them in the store would be pay to win.

It usually takes about 10 minutes to find a free bite. There is even a thread offering them somewhere on this very forum. Curious as to why would you want to pay real money.

Since vampires are said to been nerfed to the ground and worthless there should be no problems for having it on the store.

Lycanthropy. It's called Lycanthropy. Not Lycanism.

    You 'ism.

EDIT: and yes, this is the only thing I see making sense to be contributed to this thread. I can't even... on this continued "put this in crown store" *** ***.

It's spelled 'lycanthropy' actually. Get it right before correcting and insulting someone else. Talk about the blind leading the blind. :P

Back on topic: personally I think it would be a pointless addition, because as someone else pointed out, there is a thread around here with free bites offered. I am one of those who offers - and seeks - free bites. I don't agree with making people pay for a simple game mechanic.

Well if being a vampire or Werewolf is 'winning' then they certainly need to be nerfed.

Firstly why would you want to pay for something that's available free in game?

Secondly it may not be pay to win in the sense that being a vampire or werewolf doesn't give you a massive advantage but it's definitely in the category of pay to skip playing (part of) the game.

You may as well ask to buy access to the Fighters and Mages guilds, so you don't have to do the 1st quest. It's the same idea - paying to skip past a part of the game - and equally pointless since you can find people offering free bites in the starter towns along with those quests. (Or people recruiting for guilds, which will quite likely have at least one vampire or werewolf willing to bite members.)

I like the social interaction (however minute) garnered by the current vampire/werewolf systems. I wouldn't want to see this in the store.

First of all, it's not P2W. Stop throwing that word around at everything you see.

Don't see a problem with it. I mean, it's just for convenience, right? It just cuts the time you actually need to find a Werewolf or Vampire in the wild to get infected. Which is certainly easier than farming a rare motif.

No, they should not. The respective quests are simple if done at the appropriate level.

Motifs are available free in game, why not bites? It's all about "convenience"...

The bite itself is nothing. It doesn't give you any advantage, you still have to earn that (certainly for the werewolf, don't know about vamp). So the "convenience" would be that you don't have to go looking for a bite.

Maybe a minor convenience, but in other threads people are arguing that ZoS have to sell as much as they can just to keep the game alive, so why not bites? As with everything in the shop, if you don't want to pay for it then don't buy it:)

My simple answer to this is, in Morrowind the only way you could become a werewolf was buying The Bloodmoon expansion and with Skyrim you had to buy the dawnguard dlc to be either of them, so I say yes buying it apart of a bundle potion pack in this game would be fine!!

No, not ok at all to sell any skill lines.

By the way "lycanism" is not a thing, did you think because vampirism applies to vampires that werewolves are lycanism? Never seen anyone do that before, you might want to edit you title, because it is called Lycanthropy.

How about they put a big hand to do everything for you, in crown store? Or they send one of the devs to play instead of you? Would things like that make you happy?

The ability to become ww is a companion quest (base game), the ability to become a vampire is a "find the disease in the wild" (base game).

Any bonuses given in a DLC are irrelevant to the process of actually being cursed and becoming one of these beings.
