✭Were you able to play as one before?
Given this seems to be just ZOS enabling accounts which don't have a valid game code registered (ie. beta players who never bought it) to play without one for a couple of days I see nothing in what they've posted that says they will be enabling features you never had before.1 -

True. Imperials are only available if you purchase the Imperial Edition --> so I doubt it will be possible, but for those who really want to try playing as one, I hope so for your sakes

✭✭✭✭✭I seem to remember during the later betas random accounts had the imperial edition bonuses enabled (at least I assume it was random).
