I need a name change for one of my characters

I have an alt which was parked in the bank for months, now I'm actually playing it but I don't want to run around with that name anymore, I really need a name change.

I submitted a ticket (150412 000314), but afterwards it said there would currently be another open ticket already and it might take longer.

The thing is, there is no other ticket. The last one (about something else) was ignored since the 5th of April, I never got another answer after I replied even twice to your first mail which didn't help.

If you don't want to reply anymore, then could you eventually just close that ticket that I can get that name changed? I still have 19 days left from my last subscription, just saying.

I've never heard of ZOS changing a character's name, forum names yes but not character names.

My game has always said I had another ticket open when I don't. Crazy for sure. Not sure if it has been this way with others but it is taking over a week to get replies to my tickets from the first level support. Hope yours gets answered sooner.

Hm, it looks like they don't close any previous tickets anymore now (or in my case, they don't close it and just ignore any other incoming mail); I'm not surprised to see more and more people waiting for a response for ages already. Another case what I know of was where they just closed the ticket without solving the problem and not replying anymore either.
This is getting better and better...

I know that players can not change the name, that's why I submitted a ticket in order to get it changed by the Customer Support. Which is still ignoring me btw.

I had to remove it as the edit option was not working.

I wanted to add that "We currently don't change character name in-game via our Support either".
We can do it only if the name is inappropriate.

I still find it odd, though, since even account names can be changed by the support, but character names can't. So I'll just continue playing Ray Mccluck, a serious sorcerer -.-

Moral of the story; give your pack mule alts offensive names, just in case you want to rename and play them later.

No, inappropriate means 'bad' as in breaking the naming rules by being offensive, racist, whatever, not simply because it's not 'appropriate' in the way you're looking at it.
