What sense are all games where different factions fight an enemy in common?
Three factions together to eliminate Molag Bal?
Because are found in common objectives which are usually more important, that is why three enemies can unite under one banner, to perform tasks in search of a common good for once removed the top threat to continue with the absurd fights every day.

Except then you need to up the guild member limit by a lot to account for alts.
OP: By your logic, the actual problem is that we can make characters in more than one faction. The problem is not the guild membership.
