Nice video. This convinced me to level up my NB instead of Templar for my third character. So @TheBull in your honest opinion, is all the complaints about Cloak still overblown? It looks to be working very nicely in your video.

yes the complaints are overblown, the NBs I run with laugh at how ridiculously strong it is. You aren't using it correctly if you think its bad.

Good, you'll enjoy NB. There're a blast to play.

Well, cloak is better now since 1.6. That being said it's still finicky which leads to spamming it sometimes. Prior to 1.6 the complaints were very real.

Good, you'll enjoy NB. There're a blast to play.

Might dust off the VR1 NB I leveled last fall. Did the main PvE quest through Coldharbor but never spent any real time in Cyrodiil. At least Update 6 means I have a free respec waiting to be used.

Though I am a bit sad I didn't make it into the montage. We have had some pretty decent fights, both on my V14 NB and my baby NB.

Keep in mind tho, in my opinion, the only skills shown in this video are the footage and the theory crafting which leaded to this build. The rest is pure potato pounding on the keyboard. Give a class the best survivability in the game (dodge rolling + cloak + image which is not even used in this video) while allowing him to spec pure glass cannon. Broken nightblade is broken.

Ahh, the obligatory "grass is greener" post. Was wondering when that would pop up.

It's not as easy as it looks Frozy, you should try iy and post a video. The build isn't complicated, but the skill required and positional awareness in a glass cannon spec NB is quite high.

Ps. Glass cannon speced NB can get maybe 3-4 cloaks off on combat. And we all know how wonky Cloak can be at times. Also note he's not even using any of the current "OP" skills everyone is crying about. Give the man credit where credit is due.

The dozens of times a day I get 2shotted by this type of players riding between 2keeps got me quite annoyed. Not to forget that it is the best way to farm AP at the moment. Some people even got #1 on the leaderboard of their faction strictly 2shotting people like that all day long. I don't think personally that such people deserve to be an emperor at all. They do absolutely nothing for their faction. lol

i dont think people who zerg 24/7 should get emperor either especially when zergs cause lag. yet i dont see some zergs even caring about the lag and will do what ever they can to give themselves an advantage, even if they have to lag the zerger (edit Server) out to do it.

People Zerg because right now the game mechanics incentivize it.

Stop incentivizing zerging, and incentivize spreading out and the zergs will disappear.

Removing AOE caps was a start.. but the diminishing returns was the wrong way to go.

Upping siege damage didn't help because the rolling zerg just rolls past it, or purges through it.

I played LoTRO for years and they had the same problem. The best tactics for taking map objectives was to ball up in a huge zerg. And.. it cause lag in LoTRO just like it does in ESO (but not quite as bad).

Why would people stop playing in groups of 25 if the system is made to invite 25 players ? This is open world large scale PvP. If you haven't figured out yet after 1year that it was made for group fights, the only thing I can tell you is Welcome to Cyrodiil.
