The fact it wasn't part of initial release was strange enough, but haven't heard any word on when/if the Jeweler crafting will be implemented?
It would go a LONG way into opening up options for players of all levels and play styles:
- Improving currently owned pieces (green->blue-purple, etc)
- Make player crafted sets significantly more useable as their major drawback right now is there are no jewelry pieces to go with them
- Allow for more creative, useful mixtures of set pieces
- Another use for the overabundance of Trait Gems
Shouldn't be too difficult to implement, could even use current crafting stations - blacksmith most obvious, but for space purposes wood stations would be best as they only make 6 items. Gold, Silver, Titanium, etc. could be bonus mats received from refining mats much as how we get trait stones now. Those rapidly acquired trait stones could easily be expanded for use in jewelry pieces as well.
To mix it up, expand enchanter with rare runes for making improvement glyphs - would drop as extras/bonuses from current rune sources. From a lore/fantasy perspective, makes more sense to improve jewelry pieces that way than simply adding improvement tempers.
Bottom line - really want to see Jeweler crafting implemented - so many possibilities with it.
