The animation doesn't play properly. There's a delay after activating it so the animation happens a few moments after you use it, and the particle effect never disappears even if you unslot the skill or your weapons. The particle effect itself is also bugged.

I already submitted a bug report but am posting a video of the bugged particle effect. I didn't record the animation delay.

Expert Hunter did not have this problem, and I don't know if Evil Hunter does.

^ I'd prefer Zenimax to fix this rather then relying on a 3rd party add-on.

The particle effect itself isn't the only problem. The fact that it showed at all a half hour after I last used the skill is the bigger problem.

The effect staying could be due to it refreshing itself if killing undead or daedra or the bugged particle effect. the buff can last a very long time due to the way it refreshes itself

No I actually went AFK for a good part of that half hour. I also tried zoning between maps, unslotting the skill and unequipping weapons.
