Why all new players should roll Aldmeri Dominion

Hey guys just thought I would help new players who are wondering what faction they should join. My decision for my primary character is Aldmeri Dominion (AD) and here is why.

1. Very busy AD has a consistently high population that lets you have plenty of people available to do group events, there is still plenty of room though that you can go off and do your own thing and not see anyone if you so choose.
2. Good PvP, AD often controls most PvP zones.
3. Rawl'kha this city is available as soon as you leave Cold Harbor (just portal to someone who is AD in your guild that is there) This town has everything you will ever need all in a very close proximity to each other plus it has the best prices in the guild stores there.

    It is actually available before you even go to cold harbour. With that being said, it seems like you are from another faction (EP probably) trying to get a bunch of people who have no clue how to play come join in our pvp fights to which we already (AD) have enough people who have no clue what they are doing >_< I say join EP because....well.....EP

    EP has the highest.

    I can't tell if AD is ahead of DC.

    AD is probably ahead of DC, but not by much. I am seeing lots of activity on DC now.

    I agree with all of those except for one thing. I think AD has the most boring story. And this is coming form somebody who decided to make AD his home. But, DC was my first faction I played and the cities and story was WAAAY more fun. Also I tried to get my wife and a friend to play AD out of the gate, and they lost interest in the game until I showed them DC. The difference is Castles/Knights > Elfs for some people. I told them they'd play the other stories eventually anyway, but that doesn't matter if the game doesn't get it's hooks into you.

    Also Shornhelm is slightly better than Rawl'kha IMO.

    I'm AD...in the VR content for DC now...just had to rescue a fat pig in a alley. So far the story is AMAZING! LOL

    I agree, if ur new to the game and plan on pvping at level 10 or 20, or anytime before V14 then please roll AD or EP even.

    Joining a faction because there's more people is a terrible reason to join said faction; that selfish mindset just adds to the problem.

    That sounds like a justification to do the exact opposite of rolling AD, actually. But hey, bandwagoners gonna bandwagon.

    ADs also probably got the lamest story and set of areas as a faction.

    AD Maps are aggravating at least, You have to follow the roads in big arc's to get anywhere. Worst starting area of the 3 factions. No wonder AD thinks they have to rule all campaigns. They are pissed off they had to level on those maps...

    One of the many many many reasons to roll Ebonheart or Daggerfall instead of the Yellow-bellies is their current swarming of PvP zones.

    This would be exactly why everyone should join DC. Unless you're happy with broken, unbalanced PvP.

    I swear, some people just need to set up a marquee screensaver with the text reading "U R winr!!". It'd achieve the effect they're obviously looking for.

    I was just about to post the same thing. AD controlling most PvP zones is a reason not to roll AD.

    I'm loving DC. I rolled DC in beta, I rolled DC in early access, I'm still rolling DC. That french medieval theme feels right at home for me. The Alik'r desert is a much better zone than I expected and even Stros M'kai is great, and Stros M'kai was the first taste of DC I had.

    I rolled DC mainly because of 1996's Daggerfall which I loved. I suspect a lot of people rolled EP because of Skyrim and Morrowind and AD because a lot of people have an elf fetish.

    Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
    Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
    Disable abilities while holding block.
    Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
    Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
    Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
    Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
    Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.

    Although I mainly rolled EP to join my friends (who only know Skyrim but, to be honest, one of my friends also has viking blood in him so I can't blame him for playing EP), I find EP's reasoning to fight in Cyrodiil to be much more appealing.

    AD - "We want our old lands back!"
    DC - "Hey, I want it too!"
    EP - "OMG! There's some bad Daedra !@#$ going on there!"

    AD is okay but some of the elves are annoying. DC is my favorite faction of all. The zones are pretty and enjoyable to travel around.

    To the new folks, if you choose EP, beware of the zone chat in Stonefalls. It will make you weep for humanity if you have a soul. Oh wait no one there has a soul. That's for the best I suppose.

    Is anyone else here not the kind of person that joins a club just because it's popular?

    I've been kicked out of two guilds for not playing my AD character enough. That kind of thing gives AD a bad name IMO. Besides, who joins a club just to hang out with "the cool kids"?

    People should join what ever alliance sounds neatest to them. Period.

    But really, EP has the highest population and is usually winning the Cyrodiil war (at least in the North American server).
