why no medium+stamina sets for light/heavy attacks?

i found few sets with boost for light/heavy attacks

but they all light armor sets

Elegant set
Duelist
Undaunted Unweaver
Undaunted infiltrator(medium, but magica based)

@ZOs, why not for stamina builds/medium armor?

    They have the undaunted infiltrator set, but that is magicka based.

    Well since ZOS only made Stamina builds viable in other than niche cases hopefully they'll now figure they need to provide a set or two to give parity to the now-defunct magicka builds the existing sets were designed for.

    For some reason, I can't help but think that the original intent of Hunding's Rage, Dreugh King Slayer and the other weapon damage sets were supposed to fill this role originally. *shrugs*

    You just put up a lowcost magicka shield, then infiltrator starts working

    Needs to be more weapon damage in crafted sets. Hunding's covers weapon critical nicely, but base weapon damage is still lacking in crafted armour sets.
    Allow cross-platform transfers and merges

    I run Hunding's 5, Ashen Grip 3 for Weapon Damage most of the time.

    That's what I'm on too. It's be nice if we had a set more focussed on weapon damage than crit though to swap out my hundings

    Weapon damage was useless/not so important (because of the soft cap) before 1.6 and that is why most of the crafted sets weren't design for it. We can see that a lot of drop sets and crafted sets are not anymore useful after all the changes in 1.6. What ZoS did was that they changed some of the skills and removed the caps but they did not redesigned the sets. I hope they will do it in some of the next patches or at least they will create some new sets.

    Hm, I thought it is about buffing basic weapon attack. In every cases you _would_ use magicka-based skills.

    magicka based skills scale off magicka and spell damage, though.

    I use 5-hunding's and 4 Torug's right now (or 4 Night Mother's, which is what I had before).

    But my NB is still hybrid.

    For my build in specific, I find the Undaunted Infiltrator to strike the perfect balance (top it off with Mephala set, and cast Molten Weapons to bring down some serious effin' pain). Granted there's still little to no viability to a pure Stamina build like there is for a pure Magicka build (I.e. every skill uses that resource), but the gap has certainly narrowed. I've always found no matter how much one focuses on Stamina, that Magicka bar simply needs to come into play, no matter the build. Sets like the Undaunted Infiltrator help players build for that, checking them against making terrible build decisions.
