@Tethys edit the OP to make more sense, I see caps and rage, and parenthesis... It hurts man... It hurts my brain.
My solution to this pile of nonsense is as follows.
Complete Gold Pledge - Get A Point (Bound to Account)
Ten Points - Enough For One Shoulder
Fifteen Points - Enough For One Helmet
Find Vendor - Spend Points On What YOU Want.
Problem solved. I'll take that cookie now
I've always enjoyed a token system rather than RNG, RNG is so early 2000's.

Welcome to the complaint PvE'ers have about the stupidity of ZoS putting abilities behind Rank 10 Assault which for the average Player would take A YEAR OR MORE, PER Character.Hey. PvP'er talking here.
I am pretty frustrated. I spent hours and hours during the last months doing daily pledges for the golden keys. WHICH I FREAKIN HATE DOING! I HATE PVE! SO MUCH! I .... CAN'T.... EVEN...DESCRIBE!

Rather than bland points that don't have any context or connection to the game world, how about the bosses drop rare/special "ingredients" that you can take to an NPC at the Earth Forge, where they can custom make you the piece you want. This way, you have to complete the FG quest line, and the items still reflect the bosses you had to kill, and you still would have to run the dungeon multiple times to get the ingredients you needed for helm or shoulders. Sure, under the hood it's essentially the same, but it's just tied into the game world in a much better way.
Hey. PvP'er talking here.
I am pretty frustrated. I spent hours and hours during the last months doing daily pledges for the golden keys. WHICH I FREAKIN HATE DOING! I HATE PVE! SO MUCH! I .... CAN'T.... EVEN...DESCRIBE! And the RNG-god appears to hate me as much as i hate on PvE. So i got 6 shoulders of 1 set. And 5 of another. Both of which are totally useless to me.
At the state this game is currently in you need certain sets to be competitive in PvP. Unfortunately, Monstersets are part of that. I am getting more frustrated every day because of the drop-algorythm of the golden Undaunted chests, or the inability to obtain the shoulders in another way.
Before the haters gonna hate: I know, it is about luck. But in this case you can't force luck by grind. And you can be unlucky as well. Meaning: if you have done a hundred golden pledges with one char, the chances are about 33% that you just didn't get it by that amount of runs. That's a freakin hundret days we are talking about. Yea, true math genius behind this keyboard.
And no, i don't want to discuss the significance of the set's impact on fights here. Neither the quality of PvE and dungeons, which is good, just nothing for me. So ZOS, can you please re-write that algorythm of yours (maybe to something dependant of previous drops?) or give us the chance to get the shoulders in any other way than spending one hour a day of mindless PvE'ing just to find yourself without anything useful after another full year of ESO?
Thanks for reading through this mess, have a nice day everyone. /ragequit.

Undaunted is a whole separate guild, though. How about just create a unique Undaunted Forgemaster that is by the Enclave.

A triple nested RNG system though? That's just cruel. And a lazy, artificial way to extend game time.
