Shields, CC's, knockback, disorient, gap closers, distance...which would you like me to wrap up for you? You don't think there are already counters to the two things you offer up?

'Blink' and Blazing Shield, uncountered do not make the Sorc or Templar impossible to locate or damage...just harder.

Inner light (available to all classes, even NB's) has always detected, so the fact that there is a potion option changes nothing.

so invisibility by pots is not detected?

Really guys shadow cloak is a core ability of nbs and its countered a little bit to easy. Imo normal stealth should be detected but not classskill invisibility...

Just for understanding:

NB has no classheal, no classdmgshield and an esapeskill (shadow cloak) that doesnt work right most time u use it. And even this little piece defense is now wrecked by absurd detection pots...

So anything nbs can do now just spam bow. Sounds like fun...

Detect pots are pretty lame and should only work for regular stealth and invis pots.

Same with magelight.

cloak should be immune to all detects.

like pretty much every other MMO out there.

nah it should be countered else how will you catch a magicka nb like me that keeps spamming cloak, just remove the bugs associated with that skill and all is good

and maybe decreasing the duration of the detection pots would be good 40 secs is ridiculous

Talons(Rooting), or any DoT that the cloak doesn't remove. Pick your poison.

I'm actually for what the OP is saying, make it cost a bit more Magicka so Whiskey can't spam it, but give us a working cloak.

With that said, I do feel like detection potions are a little too extreme but, then, if they weren't, nobody would use them.

base detection radius = radius - (character level - potion level).
EX: (VR levels additive to standard levelling i.e. VR1 is level 51, etc.)

And just for the record I do not nor intend to ever seriously play a Nightblade...think mine is lvl 7. Nightblade is a PTS only class for me to mess around with, so I can find its weaknesses and learn to counter the class. For me ESO has three classes, Dragonknight, Templar, and Sorcerer. Nightblade is not even an option to me for a single reason: No Self Heal.

Aye I mean that exactly if nothing can break cloak hell will break lose in PVP , just imagine 10 nbs running as a group and u can't break stealth

hmmm, I would agree now that detect pots need to go.

they last far to long and are very cheap compared to the effects they counter, and now skills exist in game to counter the effects of stealth, as well as being available to everyone.

the whole cloak mechanic needs to re worked as a whole, its just so unreliable and plagued by so many problems, im sure its not this complicated.

I don't know, I feel that if we didn't have such horrible lag, we'd do just fine without burst oh!@#$ heals.
