Game is unplayable for me

The latency is showing 999+ ping. I restarted router, restarted computer, changed firewall ruleset to allow all traffic to/from eso.exe.

I did a speedtest on the internet, received 10 ping, 55 mbps down, 52 mbps up. ISP is verizon FIOS.

I did a test where I held down right click to block, then I released block and it took 36 seconds for the shield to register as down on my screen.

Game was working yesterday. Now it is unplayable.

PVP is a no-go, so I went to cadwell silver zone. Still same issue, can't even do PVE. 36 second delay to fight doesn't work.

Sucks because I've played daily since early access, no changes then today it is unplayable.

The ping rate for me has been very high tonight, between 3,000 to 17,000+ at times, I restarted my PC, my modem and checked my internet speed and it looks normal at 25mbps. I had ping over 17,000 a bit ago and nothing was moving in Vehlyn Harbor but me so I decided to swim out to sea to see if the slaughter fish might get me...nope I just kept swimming and swimming...


Eventually I swam out so far to the east that I literally saw the edge of the ocean as I swam off it and started to fall. I just kept falling and after about 2 minutes just closed ESO and for like the 20th time tonight logged in again.

That's pretty hilarious.

I just logged into the router and enabled did port forwarding. Might have solved the issue or could be that all the B2P kids have gone to bed so I can play now.
