What are the chances that add an option to acquire followers?

I was thinking it would be interesting to have the option to acquire followers that they can equip and level up having their own skill trees.

They could be:

Healers (with moderate capacity for healing)

Tanks (with the ability to hold aggro reasonably)

DPS (with capacity to contribute to overall damage)

Support (with ability to improve or enhance certain skills or add benefits to our character)

They may also have different profiles of social interaction (random dialogues and animations), as could be:

Funny.

Sarcastic.

Dramatic.

Serious.

Curious.

Villains.

Etc.

This could be related to the possibility of obtaining a home in Tamriel and form a personal fellowship.

You could also think about the possibility of assign a specific profession in which we can help (complementary to our work, no substituent), either in the research of new recipes and deconstructing objects or preparation of materials.

Think this is possible?

They think it can be good or bad for the game?

If this is something positive, believe it should be available only at the store or also within the game?

    That might be less of a limitation of the game and more of a lack of effort.

    I Understand.

    I want to clarify that the idea would not replace the current place for other players.

    Just have extra possibility of having a follower for those moments where for x reason one can not join with others and thus count on a little extra support.

    In the same way that occurs when a mission NPC follow us and supports us.

    This is limited and will never replace the role of a player but sometimes is usually positive and even makes the experience of playing just a little more pleasant.

    In that respect I agree.

    I do not think it is impossible to improve the response of AI, it's just a matter of dedication by the development team.

    If you have the possibility of expanding this type of uses and takes into account the possibility of associating to crown store, perhaps the effort find it positive or profitable and decide make better.

    It is kind of in keeping with the lore though. Followers in other TES games are thick as mince too. Standing in your way, walking in front of your arrows and dying... Yelling at Lydia actually started to see like a necessary game mechanic in Skyrim a few times. :D

    Hirable-npc-companion Followers would enhance this game dramatically! Idea was more for hireable followers, not one that would stay with you. I personally think that should be limited to an NPC spouse... If that ever happens.
