The Psijic Order roll call, who is still here?

Good to see so many familiar names!
It will probably take some time to really get back into the game, so much has changed since i last played.

I couldn't get to the Psijic forum yesterday but someone at ZOS must have worked their magick since i can get in now.

Also, this might be a stupid question, but what should i do with all those stacks of forward camps and oil pots?
If i'm not mistaken, neither of those are available anymore. Do they still work in Cyrodiil?

If your on EP or AD, just go ahead and destroy those forward camps. Otherwise they still work but they're very rare so I would suggest using them sparingly.

Pretty sure the oil pots are still in the game tho.

Glad the forum works for you now.

Oh those forward camps still work, you just can't get any more of them so save them for special occasions.

I don't really play the game much at all these days and am not too social. I've kept my sub up though and am waiting for the console release. Hopefully I won't be the only psijic on xbox when the time comes...

Nope, that was me also. I can't complain about that one though cause the Mara group was pretty awesome for the most part.

Not back, logged into forums just now during an extremely long nursing session. So many old faces! I have a 4 month old now, so I don't know if I will actually get back into the game. She's a demanding little Monkey, you know follows me everwhere. We are still working out the bugs.

Grats on the new baby, Jessabella. You know, now that the game is no longer subscripton based, you can pop in occasionally without feeling you need to make good use of the time you've paid for. Tamriel is a nice place to sightsee, and you can visit without being "back."

I'm slightly disappointed to know that our paid community managers are moderating private forum sections for select guild(s).

The Psijic forum was for the Psijic group of Beta testers, not all Psijic Beta Testers joined the Psijic guild. The reason the forum exists is because it contains the history of what we discussed and they just kept it open for those who did the beta testing. Your approval or disappointment is not necessary or required. And to answer the OP, I never left....

I remember having access to a unique forum back during the stress tests, but I never saw it again after launch. It would actually vanish the minute the stress tests ended. In fact, I even posted there a couple times during the weekends.

I don't know if that's actually the forums that are being talked about here, though.

No, a separate forum section. It still exists. I've been able to clog through all those posts even today, which is awesome. If the general community knew how much of the suggestions and feedback we already gave to ZOS during the beta test stages, they wouldn't be starting with the phrase, "Why has no one ever suggested this?"

To answer the OP, I never left. I've been subbed since launch but I took a 3 month play hiatus due to health concerns. I was wondering why this was in the general forums section. Was kind of surprised when I saw it. Does this mean we aren't so secret snowflakey anymore?

And yes, I think it was crossbows and silver bolts or something. Something about Carde asking for a crossbow... while using silver bolts.

Did early beta testing, was part of the Pyijic Order Beta Testing and have been subbed since release. Other than a gift card I got for 3 months game time for another reason that had nothing to do with the Beta. I am still subbed now on the B2P version.

I submitted several hundred bug reports during the closed beta. And some of the bugs are still in the game, 1.5 years later.


Now all i have to figure out is how to get the "repentance" effect off one of my characters that i had parked in Cyrodiil.
She has been perpetually burnt to a crisp with no obvious way of removing the effect.

I suppose it's possible, but it doesn't matter.

At a guess, the Psijic forums were probably set up to deal with beta feedback. At that point, after the game transitioned into an open beta, cracking those forums open would have involved more work. So they were allowed to exist, because, honestly, it's probably a low maintenance area for them.

Either way, hidden forums are a norm on every site you frequent. Without exception. That is one of them.

Exactly what I was about to post, but saying that I can understand folks being cranky over an area of what is now a free-to-all forum being available to a privileged view simply because of the luck of the draw. I'd personally vote to nix it. And that's from a psijic member (though I never did get around to getting added back in).

Well, thinking about it... if you think about the Psijic members as, basically interns (that is to say, unpaid employees), the forum setup makes a lot more sense. And I don't think anyone's clamoring to see the staff board either. Similar basic idea, but, I know from my own history that even mentioning the existence of staff boards on a forum you admin will make some people jealous. *shrugs*

For what it's worth, the forum section is the only thing we got for beta testing the game. No pets, no mounts, no titles, no perks. Nothing special other than getting to play the game a couple months earlier than everyone else.

That excludes the beta monkey pet which was given to everyone who participated in the weekend beta test events.

Some of us got to meet Zenimax folks. Even @ZOS_BrianWheeler , 2015 savior of PVP.
