Would You pay 2000 Crowns or more for appearance or/and name change?

Heya @ all,

as the title says: Would You pay to change the facial appearance of Your character? Maybe You realised that after half a year he would look better in this armor with a beard...or longer hair? Who knows?

Also, you cant vote on both name change and appearance change in your poll, and many of us would like to see both in the shop

I wouldn't pay 2000 crowns for a barbershop. I'd pay maybe 500, especially if/when they come out with new hair styles or scars or tattoos or whatever.

Name changes? I'd never pay for one, but I imagine that is coming and will probably be around a $20 cost. Whatever, no big deal.

I wouldn't pay for a cosmetic change with Crowns, it should be available using in-game currency IMO.

A name change I have no feelings about really, personally I don't change my name in real life and my characters don't change theirs in game so such a feature is not relevant to me.

While I agree that changes to a character that can not be done by a Tamriel barber should be possible and cost Crowns it's a minor thing and be more around 500 Crowns

I would only use Crowns if there was a way in-game to earn them. Yes, I am anti-game currencies. I don't agree with paying 4.99 or more for cosmetic things.

2k is too much, but 1k is fair. Or charge a small amount per particular change you make.

Your appearance change doesn't clarify enough. I won't pay any crowns for a simple new hairstyle. I don't care if its only 10 crowns, I simply refuse to pay real money for what other games have included free. I'll leave that to the suckers.

Now if we are talking about a whole extra crack at the character creator....then I'd pay 1000 crowns for say, an hour access *account wide*, but I won't pay 10 bucks just to shrink that ones feet, another 10 because that ones face is too round, etc. Account wide or bust.

Name change, yes. A cool down should also be used to limit how often one can change the characters name.

Appearance, however, 2k is way too much ($20 USD). Appearance change should be in-game gold IMO (like almost every other established MMO), not part of the cash store.

even though I've had my moments of loathing something I did or did not do to my character's appearance, I am not willing to pay to make those little tweaks.

I think there should be an in game shop to change things like hair, face paint type stuff for gold. An extensive appearance change however should be in crown store and considering that fire horse was more, that many crowns sounds reasonable. A name change feature should be offered as well, but cheaper IMO.

I would like the option to change my appearance but I wouldn't pay 2,000 for it.

I have a difficult time with changing names. I can see some legitimate reasons for doing it but I can also see abuse. For instance, a known scammer can just change their name and once again be a trusted citizen. People should have to live with their reputations or suffer starting all over again with a new character.

Lets not create issues by demanding Crown Store be forced upon us in multiple situations.

They should add customization options, at least for things one should realistically be able to modify: hair cut, facial hair cut, adornments, etc. But it shouldn't be THAT expensive. And more importantly, it should be payable with in-game money.

Any further changes to the character, including name changes or race, could be payable with crowns/real money.

Just like in most other MMOs, really...

Well I hope not all appareance changes go to the crown store.What Im hoping is hair,facial hair,tattoos and accesories can be changed with in-game currency in a "barber shop"like vendor and for the crown store,model modification,name change and maybe race? If they add all modifications only to the crown store I will be very dissapointed because we have been asking for a barber shop system since the game released.

You need another option. I wouldn't pay for something that should already BE included in the game. I really, really want the appearance change, have been asking for it pretty much since launch. But it's a feature most mmos offer for free. It'd be a massive slap in the face to us if they decided to charge for it now - especially a price as high as 2000 crowns!

I don't mind an appearance change but I am completely against the idea of a name change. I strongly believe that a players reputation should follow him and hate the idea of people simply changing their names to get away from a poor reputation.

I would totally support some way of changing a character's name. I just think it's a different enough feature then a race change it shouldn't be in the same poll with race change.

Yes or no- anything else skews the poll with only one negative selection.

What if its not because of a poor reputation? What if they assumed character names would be shown in guild and not account names and they want to change account name because its derpy or something? I say this because when we signed up for beta, my husband used the name "Adrenalyn" a character he made in another game, he had no idea it would be his account name. Luckily, a CS rep took pity on him having to constantly explain the "staff under his skirt" to new guildmates and gave him the account name change.

I get that there are skeever dung players out there but why should everyone be punished for that? ZOS should simply handle those players better.

Some of us from Early Release had a bug where you couldn't zoom in to character's face. I don't want to pay to make a small adjustment to my character.

Wait, I thought this poll was about changing character names, not account names... As long as the account name stays the same, being able to change the character name is no different from being able to create a new character with a different name - at least, as far as your concerns about changing in order to get away from a bad reputation. In other respects it's significantly different.

One of my characters suffered from an early game bug and looks not quite like I wanted, second has a spelling mistake in his name. Nothing serious, I can live with that. I would've changed it for a small fee if I could - but not more than 500 crowns each, what doesnt mean it should be cheap, just it's not so important for me to pay more than 500 crowns. Maybe one time for free (as a last chance to polish your character), and next ones for 2000 crowns?
Although I would gladly welcome a barber establishment to change my coiffure or tatoos (and nothing more) from time to time, but with ingame monies - say for 100 gold?

Edit: On second thought - I agree with @drallar, name is something you shouldn't be allowed to change, or at least not more than once. Also, I'm strongly against a race change.

I didn't play this game to get hung up on the look of my character. But some people do and any customization should be free imo, aside from race change.
