This seems to only be an issue in Cyrrodiil, for me anyway. Stuck in combat for minutes after a small fight. Stuck in combat after death for 1-2 minutes preventing travel.
I could almost understand stuck in combat during regular play.
But through death? It is such a absolute state of play I find it hard to understand how it doesn't automatically break all affects, all heals, all AoE's and of course combat too.
Ive found that DOTs will keep me in combat after death. If whoever you were trying to kill is still experiencing that DOT..Gluck with doing anything other than running back to keep..well gluck with that too.
One thing I noticed about the combat system is that anyone in combat has a giant size invisible aura that if you enter that aura you enter combat as well so long as you are in the same group. I haven't tested this part but I think that aura can cascade down an entire line of a spread out group as one person enters an aura and becomes a new aura.
I think the whole aura thing needs to go. Why should I enter combat because my group did? If I wasn't grouped I'd be fine.
I run solo mostly and this happens all the time. Take a resource, go out of combat, heal some dudes and go in combat. Those I healed, mount on their horse and ride away and I get to run for 2 minutes. It is a lovely experience.

This.
My Entropy keeps ticking even after death, if I quickly respawn I'm still getting heals from entropy and it won't let me use transit.

The still in combat bug is the most annoying bug that's been around since the beginning. It seems it only got worse after this last patch though. There's been multiple times where I get out of combat but just 2 seconds after, I'm back in combat. This happens for about a minute or so. I think it might have something to do with lag and the person you attacked/healed still being in combat so it flags you as in combat still. It affects healers the most I think, well the ones that use rapid regen/mutagen.
I've just accepted the fact that it'll never be fixed and just keep retreating maneuvers on my bar so I can run slightly faster to keep up with my group.
