Downloading Patches sucks when you're traveling

I'm glad for the patches and upgrades and fixes but it would be nice if you could choose when you apply the patches instead of not being able to play the game until you upgrade. I travel a lot and often when I get to my hotel room to play the game, I find they have added a patch which must be downloaded first. So instead of getting to play I have to download the patch and then don't have time to play the game. Too bad there isn't a better way. I would prefer an option to update the patch when I choose, then I could wait until the weekend and apply the newest patch but still be able to play while traveling.

But how would your game version match the server then? Everyone needs to be on the same one.

Be thankful the hotels have a good enough internet connection to let you download patches & play the game.
