We've been waiting since beta for a basic MMO feature that is literally in every other online game out there. Now it is here, but only in the cash shop. You can't preview any azuradamned gear, still. WTF?

Arandear✭✭✭One for in game is a good suggestion, looks bad that they only have one for the Crown Store (Never crossed my mind before reading this).
Used to use ESO Fashion a lot but all my Armor's are finished now so I have no need for it, but would welcome what OP has suggested, as I'm sure many others would.
