How often can your target be stunned/knocked down/knocked back?

I'm not sure if this was changed since 1.6, but there seems to be a limitation on how often you can stun/knock down/knock back a target.

For example, using Invasion I can rush in and knock a target down. If I use Invasion again, it will damage them, but not knock them down. Or if I use Shield Bash following Invasion, it won't actually stun them. Seems I have to wait about 10-20 seconds before any stun effects will work again.

Does anyone know the actual time required to wait before a target can be stunned again? Or if there's any obvious indicator on screen?

I think this is a good limitation to have in place. I remember using Invasion repeatedly before and just knocking mobs down over and over which is kind of lame. I'm just trying to figure out what the actual time limitation is so I can use it most effectively.

    I don't remember the time, but you can tell if they're immune by looking at their legs and see if they have these white swirling rings around their lower body. You get the same effect once you are CC'ed as well.

    Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

    IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.
    I am neither warm, nor fuzzy...
    Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS

    I'm pretty sure it's more than 5 seconds. Seems more like 10-15. I'll have to actually time it later, though.
