So we're going to have a lot of new folks joining, obviously. Where will they go? Will they join the less-populated factions to even things out, or will they pile in with whoever is winning?

I do worry the same, that DC will become even more of a minority.

I have my doubts people will want to continuously go back to being low level fodder for v14s every time the wind changes.

Plus I'm fairly sure people who only care for pvp are in the minority, not to mention there are multiple campaign and only so much room (also wouldn't put it past ZOS to give subers preferential quing).

Many peeps will first make a character for whatever faction they like the sound of or because of the racial options. So at first there probably wont be much difference in the numbers.. Although saying that, all of the peeps who played Skyrim no doubt have more of an affinity with EP and harbour negative views to the the AD.

Yer, EP is just gonna get even bigger methinks.

They will go to AD first because so many people like playing little fairies and caniblistic children. Next ebonheart pact because of the nords, and last daggerfall because no one wants to be generic humans, ugly orsimer, or....redguards "shudder".

Funny how everyone says humans(Bretons, Redguards) are generic.

Yet Elves are the most generic thing in a fantasy game.

Also Nords are basically bigger humans, so again generic.

The only "non generic" races are Argonians and Khajiit

I think it will remain mostly the same. I playing AD since beta and I like it not because it's winning or loosing. I just feel like it's my alliance. Why new players wouldn't feel the same? Pick any alliance you like and enjoy this game.

All the Skyrim kiddies are gonna flock to ESO Skyrim Online and automatically roll a Nord in the EP, and everyone is going to harbor a deep resentment for the AD Thalmor. No one cares about the DC! It'll be funny to watch all the noobs in their starting rags dying at the Stonefalls-Rift border as they try to get into Skyrim.

What is funny, here is a story. When I started I chose AD because all my now gone friends were there. And when I reached level 14. I ran to Cyrodill. Hit LFG in chat, and was quickly picked up. I ran to where the group was, just in time to be over run by DC players smashing us and taking our scroll. Annihilated is an understatement. I was just dumbstruck by my first PVP encounter. And the chat was all DC hate about how OP they were, blah, blah, blah. & months later, I guess I picked right. AD is on top, everyone is either AD, or AD haters. I think that shows the tides. And I predict, the future holds more of the same.
Follow me if I advance, Kill me if I retreat, Avenge me if I die.

When this immediate evil power has been defeated, we shall not yet have won the long battle with the elemental barbarities. Another evil, it may be an invisible adversary, will attempt, again, and yet again, to destroy our frail civilization. Is it true, I wonder, that the only way to escape a war is to be in it?

If I die, you are forgiven, If I live, I will kill you.

Just a reminder.. those who are coming back are NOT new players. The first wave of people into Cyrodiil just have to level from VR12 - VR14.

Where is the end game? You just played it.
Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

I started with DC and wont change. I remember in the beginning, forget which campaign I was in, but DC was the minority, yet managed to put up a strong fight regardless. We even had a DC player crowned the 2nd Emperor.

I think it'l stay the same, especially if "Any race, Any alliance" is a store purchase. I had assumed the vast majority if players would have been EP at the ESO release because of Skyrim and Morrowind, but to my surprise it ended up being AD. I feel like the console release is going to be a repeat at that, people have allegiance to particular races more than provinces, it seems, and I'm sure there are breton fans, altmer fans, bosmer fans, etc.

I expect most buy to play/non-subscription holdouts are of the mindset that they were not going to pay a sub when they could play Skyrim for free so I suspect the majority to go to the Skyrim lands. On the bright side though is; if they are that big of a fan of Skyrim specifically; this game will pale in comparison if not for PvP and playing with other people.

All the new pugs can line up for the 200+ queues that EP is going to have.

I think DC will be fine, we will actually have an advantage going into B2P I believe, as the campaigns will be topped up with people that actually know what they're doing during primetime.

If I die tomorrow I do not want to think of the game I could of played today, therefor I will play whatever I want today while securing a future to play in as well.

A true gamer will think of all the possible outcomes and execute the one that is the hardest to accomplish.
