Yea well mostly because I put so much into him. There is still a lot of utility to a Sorc.

I play my Sorcerer every day. She does Consumable Crafting Writs daily.

I have not even re-skilled her or applied any Champion Points. Have to remember to be careful on some Writ Surveys.......

Sorcerer is way to weak now so I dont even bother to play it! Messed with it a little bit and was disgusted. I use to love to use Impulse when I was getting attacked by more then 1 enemy. Now its a completely worthless spell along with others!!! Sorcerer use to be fun to play and I liked it a lot because it WAS powerful and force to be reckoned with & now its crap! It seems to be a typical thing that game companies do to their games and thats nerf the fun right out of it.

I have been leveling up a Temp and I can't believe how op it is. Now that negate has been shrunk in size, morphed no longer stuns, and is less powerful, my sorc is no longer a negatomatic. Aoe seems to still be ok but single target (and face it that is what counts when facing a boss or a pvp player) for sorcs means doing horrible dps relative to the other classes combined with tissue paper armor is simply not as fun any more.

Respecced stats 1 time after the free spec.

Murderizing everything I wander across. Doing great with no pets.

Don't know that my sorc was nerfed. He was really already parked before 1.6. He has always been lacking. What I do know is that my NB took it on the chin pretty hard. I've pretty much relegated him to PVP only now and I was really happy with him prior to 1.6. It's all about the Templars and DK's now.

It's a change anyway. We now have two useless PVE classes instead of one. Is that what they call progression?

b) I still play my sorc despite the 1.6 BUFF
c) I rerolled a sorc because sorcs are OP in pvp now


No idea why the hell you think sorc is broken. In pvp you are very strong and even in pve you can do good DPS. Sry that you cannot tank and heal as good as you want.

I don't really see it as a nerf. With that said, I actually switched from playing my NB to playing my Sorcerer. I don't think they are ever going to address the things that bother me about the NB.

Same with my spare sorc. Put everything into magicka and at VR3 I have more magicka and regen than my VR14 chars as well as rolfstomping VR3-5 NPCs and bosses.

Looking forward to finally getting to VR14 and taking him into PvP to troll the sorc whiners

No option for me up there as I have 2 Sorcs

My PVP Sorc is fine and I enjoy playing him in Cyro, np (at least when I can get thru the lag)

My PVE Sorc not so much. I didn't come here to play a Togglemancer/Petherder/Zookeeper, I came to play a Nuking, Glass Cannon, Fireball/Lightning Bolt throwing DPS as that is the class I most love.

I guess at least they got the Glass part right for now.

It's not the freaking end of the world, God so much Negative Nancies. I'm using practically the exact same spec as before with some minor tweaks and I'm finding myself able to solo alot more stuff than before. I haven't really cut my teeth in pvp but pvp's been mostly dead because people are obsessed over grinding atm. But I like it and that's what matters. I'm still seeing sorcs pulling good dps. If you're in a guild that wants to run 12 dks for their trials, then that guild is full of itself.

It's pretty smart tho, if you type NERF in caps maybe you can convince people it was a nerf.

Or maybe they just nerfed selectively, cause my sorc was BUFFED!

I still use the build I had before 1.6 and it seems like I am doing more damage now than I was then. Bear in mind I don't PvP so if the nerds affected that directly I wouldn't. notice.

You need a fourth option.. "I love my sorc and he's better then ever."

Survivability is high, DPS is great.. no togglemancre, no pets.. just an excellent caster that's fun to play.

Solo'ing the Skyreach Catacombs chest I get numbers like:
Scaled Court Zombie (10.1s) || 607,466 Total Damage (59,907.9 DPS)
Skeleton (94.3s) || 2,377,759 Total Damage (25226.9 DPS)

I have no qualms about my sorc.

Stop it, really stop ranting about sorcs, they never hit so hard like now in pvp since forever and in endgame pve you're still a viable and demanded DPS class, so quit the QQ

There are groups who:

1) LFG only med/heavy armor people any more. Good luck doing DPS as a sorc with that.
2) Downright refuse to take sorcs. This was going in patch 1.5 too but now it's worse.
3) You don't seem to do trials a lot, do you?
