Unacceptable. The Exp gain is way to low and takes way to much time

    Hello all,

for me, i was looking forward to update 1.6 a lot.

However the character i wish to play is vet Rank 7. My goal was to level up "quickly" to vr14 and then move on to PVP. That was however untill i noticed how much slower the progression is.

The first approach was to do quests in Cadwells silver and gold. I was making almost no progression, with the main quests (that award Skillpoints). For me that is really disapointing, since i actually like to do some quests from time to time, but now it feels almost like a waste of time (if there would be Skillpoint rewards in the end)

My second approach was do go to craglorn and try to grind experience in Spellscar. There I became even more frustrated with the leveling up process.

Having done approx 10 BIG pulls of 15 Monsters or so have rewarded me more or less 1% (yes one percent) on my experience bar.

That is unacceptable for me. I have a Subsribtion and i actually planned to stay subscribed, but that move to decrease the Experience gain for players like me (who work and have a family life) is a big NO GO.

It looks to me, as if ZOS decreased the amount of Experience you gain (unrelated to Champion Point progression) to force people to have a subscription active (and later sell exp boost potions) for the 10% more exp.

Do you guys feel the same?

Thank you for reading (and p.s.: English is not my main language, so if you find spelling errors, you are welcome to keep them :) )

XP for mobs in Craglorn was just reduced, it is currently lower than the XP you receive for killing mobs in the Cadwell's Silver and Cadwell's Gold zones.

I can sympathize, as I personally do not enjoy PVE and would prefer to be able to level exclusively in PVP. I leveled two different characters from level 10 to veteran rank in Cyrodiil, and each one took months, it was incredibly slow compared to PVE.

The developers indicated they are seeking ways to increase XP gain in Cyrodiil while avoiding possible exploits (like players trading kills or keeps for XP, etc.).

I hope they might add more categories of bounty quests or increase the XP value for completing the daily quest hub areas in Cyrodiil. At launch these quest areas were repeatable, and as a result they were great spots for ganking and small scale battles.

It would be great if players who only want to PVP could do that and earn XP/CP at a reasonable rate compared to PVE. Even doing the PVE quest areas and dungeons in Cyrodiil feels a lot more like a sandbox environment compared to the PVE zones, simply because anything can happen and you can find enemy players anywhere.

Takes WAY to long time to level VR1-14, 1 lvl per hour is what it needs to be not 5+ hours

There are very few things that make being vr14 exciting. It is worth it to take your time imo.

Veteran Ranks were never meant to be rushed through. They already made it somewhat easier to rank up.

It stinks having to do a load of dull noob quests to reach endgame.
