Nope, still several threads/posts on the front page with players claiming its true. Threads haven't been removed.

Edit: I notice you might mean these fictitious players with 200 CP points, I meant the players claiming this is true should get a banhammer on the forums for posting misinformation. You can't just claim something without proof. The threads should be removed as well, all it is doing is convincing people something that doesn't exist, does.

You're asking for me to get someone else to screen shot their champion wheel so that ZOS can pin point who to take points away from?

People in my guild were saying they were not running out of enlightenment and were getting 1CP per 10 minutes for hours and hours and hours. 200 would be tough to reach even at this rate, but I know some of them put in at least 14 hours at this. I'm sure others did more.

Was joking and i'm as skeptical about this as you are. Though it could be possible people were actually able to do this.
Im sure ZoS will take countermeasures. They've done so before with other game breaking bugs/exploits

I know players too, but there was no such thing as infinite enlightenment, another misinformation. There are players who legitimately grinded to maybe around 150. 200 is just garbage, people are lying. You can't claim something is true without proof, if you don't have it... then stop claiming it. You're convincing players something is true that isn't.

Exactly, if this was actually happening at all it would be insanely easy for ZOS to take care of. They already claimed in the original Enlightenment thread that they would check, you don't think they can just find the top CP points players and see if it was exploitation and not just grinding?

There were some enlightenment bugs that allowed people to get unlimited enlightenment. Some of these players found this bug and were getting a champion point under 20 minutes each. This means on average they earned 3 an hour. Some of these same people play very long hours.

To reach 200 champion points these players would only require 130 more because of their 70 starting points. This means if these players played more then 44 hours while this bug was around then they could have earned over 200 champion points. This is more then possible.

This is why I always advocated for a CP cap even if it is hidden and once a player reaches these caps they are immediately investigated for exploiting. The above is an exploit. Instead nothing will be done until these same players find a new exploit and earn vast amounts of champion points which then earns them a large PvP advantage.

Short answer is DKs likely won't be seeing a ton of changes before we go live; this class is still quite powerful (as it should be being a tank), even after some of the adjustments we've made to other classes and abilities.

Because there's a lot of misinformation going around, and it's leading people to the conclusion that the whole system is broken. I'm also curious to see actual evidence of the 200+ CP. I believe players would absolutely exploit their way to get that if they could, but I also haven't seen anyone show a shred of proof that they were able to do that.

Through exploits, some players currently have over 200 CP. These exploits (in majority) have been fixed. It is being kept under the radar as to not cause too much of an uproar.

Personally i'm not surprised, this happens in all games when developers put in a system that is inherently designed to create a gap between players.

Nothing will change, people who exploited will be allowed to keep their ill gotten gains. The exploits will be fixed, and nothing will be said by ZOS in hopes it all blows over.

For those who say this isn't happening. The same sort of thing happened a year ago with item duping using a bank bug, no one who duped dozens of Daedric motif's were punished, and the duped items weren't removed from the game

I guess my point is that because there's been no substantiated evidence of 200+ CPs, why get worked up over all of the noise on the forums? This is after all a semi-anonymous internet gaming forum--people post utter garbage 24/7. The trick is to ignore it.

ZoS could easily dispel these rumors if they made a "leaderboard" for CP.

I think players have a right to know where they stand in relation to other players. If there's really someone out there with 800 CP, I want to know who he is so I can ask him how he did it!

I know its garbage, but what bothers me about this is that it is such a popular notion that other players are getting convinced this is real. Thats bad for the game, especially when its something thats not even happening. There should be at least the same amount or more posts asking for proof if such a thing exists. If it truly did it should get publicity, otherwise it shouldn't be here. Last thing this game needs is such massive disinformation causing players to quit.

Yes, but the problem is that people are freaking out over the system being completely, irreparably broken. If enough people buy in to that, it starts to color people's overall impressions of a new progression system that we asked for.

If people actually are getting insane amounts of CP through exploits, they should be banned, and the exploits should be fixed. But since there's no hard evidence that this has actually happened, it's only contributing to hysteria.

I can see it being possible for sure 130 points gained at a reduced rate say 3 an hour.. 43.3r hours of hectic grinding if feasible.

Yeah, it would be lame if new players saw this and started to panic. Sadly it seems like it's just unsubstantiated forum hysteria run amok ;/

Edit: Not sad that there doesn't appear to be an actual exploit; sad that people are rumormongering lol

The proof is already there, ZOS would already know. You don't think they could have calculated where someone should be if there was no exploiting? The proof is already there so posting it doesn't change anything.

It's not possible to prove it of someone else, since the CPs a character has isn't shown on any UI other players can see.

Yes, it's easy for someone to 'out' themselves, which clearly isn't going to happen since it's undeniably exploiting something that no way could be thought of WAI, the only other proof can come from ZOS and they're highly likely of course to admit it.
