Remove CS from PvP for better balance, PvE could be separately balanced in the CS.
The Developers could balance all classes in PvP with little to no impact to PvE players, their stats could be tweaked and adjusted in the Champions System.
good? bad? whats you thoughts?

If you think FPS games are about a level playing field, you can go back to the 90's.

Splitting pvp and PVE up is the most logical way to handle imbalance . It can be done too . I just doubt they'll give that much attention to pvp .

This. Make pvp give good champion XP and we finally have something to care about earning in Cyrodiil after unlocking the basic assault/support skill lines fully (around 10% of the alliance point cap needed for Alliance Rank 50). MMO's by their nature are intended to have long-term progression in some form. So are RPG's ;).

Exploits suck. Don't blame just the game, blame the players abusing them!

I would love a no cs campaign. I don't want to be forced into a grind to stay relevant in pvp.

Dumb idea is dumb. Just adjust XP gains in PvP to be more in line with PvE XP. And by this I mean player kill XP, not the stupid quest turn ins.

Agreed here. One hour of moderate killing should get me a CP while enlightened. That's still worse than mob grinding, but I can deal with it.

    Realy Dumbgrants....:)

The PvP is broken with the current CS.
New players will get farmed in Cyrodiil from skilless CP-grind "Champions".

it should be PVP not Pv24/7nolifeheroes.

New players lagging behind is an issue of CP progression, not the existence of the system. There's numerous ways to solve it, the most obvious would be a tiered progression system tied to the seasonal DLC. As in, each season, a certain # range of CP would be made easier to earn. For instance, making 1-70 CP require 10x less XP (40k instead of 400k) to earn per point when the game goes B2P on 3/17.

Pretty much everyone who is subbed now already has the 70 starter points, this would help new players get up to 70 in a more reasonable time frame so that they are not ridiculously underpowered compared to the old players (who will still be further into the CP system and thus have no real legitimate complaint against this). And then say 6 months later when the next DLC zones are released along with the new seasonal gear, 71-140 are made easier to earn, and so on. ZOS have already stated that they plan a system like this for the seasonal gear, making previous season's easy to acquire to prevent a gear disparity, extending it to CP accumulation isn't just logical, it's a good idea for the long term health of the game. This + vastly increasing pvp XP gain is the way to go.

Why this instead of just disabling Champion System in Cyrodiil? Too many reasons. People would have to make entirely different pvp/pve builds even more so than now to account for the loss of everything from the CS. As a pvp'r then what are you playing for beyond just the pvp itself? What happens as more and more pve seasonal gear is released, you will continue to fall behind as pve players accumulate more CP allowing them to do harder content and get the new gear. It would remove incentive for pve'rs to go into pvp as it would be telling them "hey you know those hard earned CP you got, your character progression can go suck it".

Like it or not the CS is here to stay, much better that ZOS tries to balance it over the upcoming months than do what you suggest.

And thanks for the nickname, lemme grant you a reward, you earned it bro.

Maybe something like a system cap on dlc's is the way to go eg from now to the next dlc max points you can get is like x amount then a new dlc arrives and the max points you can get then goes up to another x amount and so on so the points aren't getting to far ahead of new players and you'll still have your progression mmo and it'll just be tiered everybody wins zeni will get money because people have to buy dlc to progress and new players won't get so far behind and will be able to catch up.

@ OP yes it makes sense.
But is that fair that PVE land gets a nice progresion system and PVP gets nothing ?
To many in Cyrodiil that would be just another stick to whack the pvp players over the back with.

Many of them need their crutch anyway as they would never win on an even playing field as they dont have the skill.
I is good coz I have big crutch....yeah right lol.
You can see the bum squirt at the mere suggestion of equality and fairness.

On the note of XP in Cyro...I got 4 CPs last night in Cyrodiil. I think I'm doing quite well. Still think there needs an adjustment, but it's really not all that bad like we all thought originally.

delete the champion system and bring a new fun fair system nobody needs a 24/7 farmer system
which only makes the xp/h count all other aspects of the game now feels wasting time
in pvp so a system is worst thing
pvp should be so fair as possible and not favor 24/7 players which always will be ahead with or without this system

they just need to make keep takes (50k worth), and resources (5k worth) award enlightenment. Cooldown it to once every hour or 6 or 24 and get players to stop grinding and start playing all the content. Vet dungeons, dsa, and other group instanced content should grant a small bonus to xp gain upon completion. game fixed.

The CS is what keeps people going and building their character, you take that away and there is nothing to push for. no ones like to hit that "im finished wall" the CS fixes that problem and lets you keep going with very very small improvements.

VET Ranks have always been the problem.

The CS is probably the best thing to happen to PVP and is somewhat like the Realm rank system from DAOC which kept people building their characters for years.

The enlightment mechanic really helps the casual player to keep up with the big bonus they get to CPs while those that play 27/7 gain very very little with out
