I dunno about everyone else, but MY GOODNESS do these things seem powerful. Like folding Molag Bal over their knee and giving him the spanking to end all deadric spankings. I don't know if I'm suddenly just massively vulnerable to lightning (some lightning mages are giving me a hell of a time now too) or what but is anyone else noticing this or am I suddenly just doing something wrong?

I can kill everything one of those mini-dolmen-rifts tosses out by myself(on par with my level), but if there is a storm Atronarch I just leave, I literally can't kill them anymore.

They've pretty much always been that way.

Extremely mobile, immune to all CC, extremely high in damage (even only considering the unavoidable stuff), extremely high health pools...

They have always been extremely dangerous...at least in Veteran zones. While leveling from 1-50, they were hard but not impossible.

Generally, when I was questing to level, I had to use my extra Skill Points to make a build specifically to fight these suckers. And use potions. And food. And even then I'd only win half the time, and only if I played perfectly.

Okay, if that's how they are supposed to be that is fine then, I'm only Vet3 so it's totally possible I just didn't notice them being horrible until now. Thanks for letting me know!

Aye, not a problem. It was shocking to me, too, when I first faced one in a Veteran zone. They go from hard to nearly impossible, but this is normal.

Storm Autronachs have been challenging to beat ever since the game started. I don't see them as any harder right now.

You ARE interrupting their wtfdamge lightning-tornado-everywhere special attack, right?Sorry, but I had to ask.

Also, class/config really makes a difference. I have found that fights can change from tough to trivial by simply swapping a couple skills. What are you using?

They actually seem easier this patch? Even the Harvesters seemed easier. I think the mobs in most areas are progressively getting weaker as time goes on, but maybe I'm just craving the old vet zones where it was actually much tougher than the mind numbing 1-50 areas.

Veteran stormies have always been a terror. Haven't managed to take one down solo yet... I suppose it -might- be possible, but... takes a better player then me. Or maybe a better character. But they are pretty much the toughest "standard" opponent I can think of... worse of a pain then any storyline solo boss, including Mannimarco or Molag Bal... (though I guess latter don't really count since you fight him aedric-empowered...)
