Can't make sense of the skills changes

I'd struggling to get my head around some of the alterations to whether certain skills are powered by Magicka or Stamina. For example, Assassin's Blade is a magical blade and is powered by Magicka, its Impale morph is also powered by Magicka but the Killer's Blade morph (still a magical blade) for some reason is powered by Stamina.
Similarly Teleport Strike and its Lotus Fan morph are Magicka based, but the Ambush morph is feeds from Stamina.
In the Shadow skills line Veiled Strike and its Concealed Weapon morph are Magicka based but the Surprise Attack morph is a Stamina based Skill.

My Nightblade uses Killer's Blade, Surprise Attack and Ambush a great deal; previously they were all Magicka based and I tended to weave them in with Stamina based dual wield skills meaning I could keep up a sustained attack (with high Stamina and Magica regen.) whilst one set of skills allowed the other to regen. before swapping back. With the current situation I'm running out of Stamina really quickly even with a lot more attribute points given to Stamina.

✭I have an alt nightblade on a magicka build that I am currently leveling to VR, so this may not be helpful for end game players, but my solution to this has been to leave some of the skills unmorphed, particularly Teleport Strike since I use it a lot. Not sure if that would work for you but maybe some testing would help you see if the DPS output is affected worse/better.0
