New update is BS!

Hi, just wanted to leave my opinion about the new update.
I think it's pure bullsh and the reason is, they made a "justice" system and weee for that, now we can steal things and murder npc and we get to be Dev troll GANKED... Guards can kill us, but, we cannot kill them... WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE what brain dead Dev came up with that?

If your going to make a system like that, make sure the justice goes both ways!

If this is a bug, then fix it ASAP, if it's working as planned, then let the players know now. So some people can move on and do other things in the game.

This is already been talked to death. It's an *actual* consequence as part of the justice system, without it, you really couldn't call it a justice system -- it would simply devolve into packs of easymode players wiping out entire towns for loot.

In my last guild conversation with the Zenimax rep she said that the Devs do not ever intend for the guards to be mortal as they do not want towns to be able to be raided.... Ever.

I personally do not care one way or the other in the slightest though I do think they should change the toggle off accidentally attacking guards to also toggle off accidentally stealing and accidentally healing a fool being beaten to death by the guards. Right now a lot of folks are being mugged Zenimaxie by this. As much as I would like to think sinister of ZOS for this given the toggle off of accidental attacks it seems like an oversight. Prolly should make that a toggle of of any illegal activity as we would all like to commit crimes only when in a sinister mood.
I am currently worried for the future of ESO. Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. Clearly whatever gold shenanigans were happening the last couple years are fixed.

Accidental stealing? Yes, add. Healing? Nah. Banks are no longer firework shows :)

I like to get a clear answer from ESO Staff about this, maybe someone already seen this and can give a link to it?

I do NOT wanna waste my time and thats why i want a answer on this.

You're already wasting your time writing a thread complaining about something that's been the topic of dozens of threads already.

Utilize the search function on the forums.

Try "Justice System" "Guards" "Unkillable Guards"

You'll find at least 20 threads whining about the same thing.

Don't expect it to change. It's meant to add consequence and it does it perfectly.

If you don't like getting ROFLstomped by guards, make better and more strategic choices while thieving. Steal smarter, not harder.

If you want to go on a murder spree, make sure you bank all your coin first.

You can also find the answer to your question by watching the QuakeCon video from 7 months ago on youtube. Or any number of the ESO Live episodes detailing the Justice System.

Guards will never be killable, and that's a good thing.

Then i'll pick option 3, save money and leave now and Maybe return when it's F2P from those who already bought the game.

Right now i understand why people has left this game. To bad i had to spend money to find that out :(

    Thanks for the replys.

Do remember - this isn't WoW where you can go into town and kill almost everything in sight with no consequences. Different mmo altogether. And I'm very thankful for that!

So... you're coming back in what is it... 10 days, just because you can't kill guards?

If the guards were killable what risk would there be for being a thief or murderer? You could go around and clear out whole towns with groups of players and all that would be left would be quest npcs. How would that be fun? How would that be fair to players that don't want to be thiefs or murderers.

I'm sorry you don't like the game over a trivial issue such as not having killable guards. But I hardly see that as a legitimate reason to not play the game.

And why do you think people left this game I'm just curious? Because of bugs? Because it's not Skyrim Online?
