WTF?

I just logged in. I don't understand anything. The game makes zero sense to me anymore. Why not just force everybody to reroll? I even went onto the PTS for a bit. This is one of the most asinine things I've ever seen. They should feel bad. It's not even the game I bought. It's some weird kluge of discombobulated buffs and debuffs and at the center of it is my nerfed V14 buried under a pile of "Champion Points" which really should be called "Un Nerf yourself points."

I'll catch you all later when I feel like re-rolling entirely and treating this like a new game. I can't even tell what the hell is going on.

This is essentially a soft relaunch and the game is essentially changing for Tamriel Unlimited on the 17th.

I was on the PTS, I just didn't think they'd actually push alot of the garbage they did live. Oh well..........

You unfortunately didn't pay attention, this is what happens honestly.

I'd suggest visiting the site more and looking at the info they throw at our faces pretty much for future updates, etc.

I played the pts from 1.6.1.

I agree. 1.6 is garbage, no matter how much time you put in on the PTS.

And that's your opinion. You can still play the game with no sub after the game relaunches in under two weeks.

The title of this thread adequately reflects my perception as to its purpose.

I really don't see the problem with this system. Combat is the same, more options like stamina morphs were added, and fighting anything other than raid bosses is if anything LESS difficult now, even with no champion points.

It sounds like your personal fad of the moment five skill tunnel got nerfed or changed and rather than adapt and experience any of the new content like the justice system (which gives you a whole new skill tree with the opportunity for more easy and essentially free buffs), you came on the forum to post a generalized rant without bothering to state any specific reason whatsoever for your obvious angst.

So basically, you are a naturalized member of these forums! Welcome aboard! XD

eh it's pointless. All I know is I logged in and didn't know anything, tried to figure out my skills and realized I'd be better off completely rerolling rather than trying to understand crit rating conversions and this new buff/debuff system, which I have no interest doing. They should be happy they got my money.

Or you could just look at build ideas people are starting to form.

I had to 100% change the way my NB operated...no complaints from me. Just don't continue to be lethargic.

It's a game. Lethargy isn't the right word. Compete and utter lack of desire to play anymore is more applicable. And for what it's worth, a lot of other people I've talked to are in the same boat. They aren't playing anymore either.

Hey, but who cares, they will get sooooo many people on them consoles.

Ah... so when the game initially launched you automatically "knew everything" about skills and bugs and crit ratings and never had to do this awful "reading" thing. Interesting.

Not sure what everyones problem is with the game in 1.6

Basically we've been given a new game, the old ESO was getting stale anyways, lets be honest.

Treat is a new game, plus if you spend the next two weeks working things out, you'll be owning the newbies that will be flocking to the game on the 17th when it becomes a fully fledged F2P, B2P, errrr... B2W game.

Shrug. I can understand it being confusing but you have to spend time with it. And I'm glad I didn't have to re-roll. Good god. No thanks.

The old game was 'stale' only because there has been no new content for 6-12 months (depending on the type of content you like to play) .. the new content didn't arrive because ZOS were gratuitously changing most of the game battle mechanics for no good purpose: clearly it had no good purpose because all the male admirers (I can't use the f' word or likely I'll get banned) can say about 1.6 is is that you have to adapt to get back to where you were before it.

I did not understand a damn thing either at first... So I asked within my guilds. Took less than 15mins for them to explain to me all my questions. Very simple, and I have never been on PTS. I am now fully aware of how things work, and what to expect.

I suppose all I can do is suggest finding better guilds? Perhaps better in-game friends to whom you may be able to openly speak to w/o any possible douchebaggery replies?

Everyone has their own perspective, I suppose.

I tried out 1.6 when it first hit the PTS. When it went up on live, I kept playing the same way I have been with the same gear/bars for my Sorc and Templar, which I am currently focusing on. Except that now I get the occasional notice that I am enlightened or that I've earned a championship point. Maybe my build was just pre-suited to 1.6 or maybe my brief time on the PTS helped me see which passives from the Championship System would be best to pursue first, but it generally feels like the same game to me with more options added.
