    I was liking RD last night, but I basically had all my abilities and gear working to boost it.

    Inner light for extra crit
    Entropy for +20% spell damage
    Dark flare for 20% extra damage on next cast
    Martial Knowledge 5 piece for 10% extra damage on next cast

    Basically, use entropy to get the spell dmg buff
    dark flare to proc bonus dmg
    radiant destruction

    If it crits, I'm sure it does 17k-20k if it brings you below 30% HP. I was also casting it against DKs at full HP and it didn't really seem to dent them at all. It just seems to act like any other execute, except this one is channeled and can be interrupted..

    20K over 3 seconds = 6,67K/s. Doesn't seem that bad imo? It should be cleansable and interruptable?

    This, chalk it up to once again people not understanding that it adds up the damage from all three seconds on your death recap. Its not as godly as you people think, just everyone is using it because its new/shiny. I'm hearing it isn't purgable which might be a bug, but it is definitely interruptable.

    I wish the game listed damage ticks in the Death Recap. Between the inflated numbers in Update 6 and listing the accumulation of all the damage ticks, I think it looks worse than it is. If someone got hit by an instant attack for 5000, then a second later for 6000, then a second later for 9000, it would be identical damage but look different on the Death Recap and people would be freaking out less.

    Even just a little *clause at the bottom of the Death Recap, and an asterisks at the end of any channeled or DoT'd ability on the Death Recap

    Do people forget that it's an execute?
    I have 25k for the person that can hit harder with their RD than I can with my Killers Blade(Impale) on my NB.

    It's channeled for 3 seconds. That's 5 Killers Blade(Impale) with animation cancelling. 50k+ in that same amount of time.

    Don't try to argue with math, you WILL lose every time. You guys are way too nerf-happy. People are only using it so much right now because it's a brand new skill. It's merely an execute that doesn't even do as much damage as others because it cannot be weaved.

    I guess you must be a DK if you expect to dive into a zerg and not die.

    I'm still trying to find a good 1vX build for my DK, so yeah, I'm dying a lot more than I'm used to. I was playing a lot on the PTS, but it was mostly 1v1 or 1vNPCs, so everyone is kind of in the same boat right now trying to figure out their new builds and playstyles. I don't think that Radiant Destruction is imbalanced, I just think that it's a new skill and everyone wants to use it while no one knows how to counter it. Just play more and tweak your build and your gear. Things will fall into balance.

    Yes I miss being able to zerg dive and not die to spaghetti beams. No I don't think they should be nerfed.

    I was told by Eric wroble that this is a work in progress atm, said they are thinking of changing the Ui of the death recap to put x(how ever many times you were hit with damage over time ability) next to the big number.
    So radiant destruction 20,000 X 25
    It will look something like that if implemented.

    You can not use animation cancelling to cast spells faster than you would otherwise cast them. All spells have an internal cooldown of 1 second, and animation cancelling can not bypass it.

    Animation cancelling supports the mechanics, the mechanics do not support animation cancelling.
