@ZOS: FIX the LFG Tool (before ESO:U)...after thousands of Threads in any given Language

My gosh,

when will @ZOS finally answer the thousands of prayers and finally fix the LFG Tool?

Are they aware, that all of the nice work and this amazing Update will be totally meaningless, when new players stream thru the Gates of Tamriel and realize

"You shall NOT pass: Find groupmates via zonechat or simply fly, you fools!".

So please @ZOS do us and your selves a favour...FIX IT!
Most ppl do not complain even...because nothing ever happened and no one of you guys ever gava any update on this. So today we have patchnotes wich let "War and Peace"(this is a very, very fat book) look old. You made the Bardes lipsync, you made the deer drop flesh, you even made the NSCs GREET each other...this all is pretty nice. But who cares? The LFG Tool ist STILL broken!

ESO players unite and /sign here, hoping this time anyone will finally do something before the players flood ESO .

Also don't know what is going on. I was playing ESO after launch and the tool was working.

Can't they at least roll back this part of the code to the point when it was working...?

I could see this dumpster fire being addressed when Console's hit. Honestly the difficulties of finding groups for anything will take a nosedive without the keyboard. But flip side of that coin, people might be forced to use it...then well, they wont have to do anything. Hmm...I might be on to something. If they wait and do nothing, the problem might fix itself with the console's only...SMH.

They did fix a small bug with setting the preferred role. Someone is on the problem, at least, but clearly they need to spend more resources on this.

Agreed, spamming zone chat or waiting for guildies to be ready is getting old, especially as i live in Australia and the server population on my peak times is low, frustrating especially when you want to do the awesome group content they have provided.

For an MMO this should be a priority fix

It needs a complete overall IMO, I'd personally like to see a reward system implemented similar to the likes of WoW, Rift, SWTOR where you get a daily reward for queuing randomly for not only norm/vet dungeons but also trials.

Yes I agree that something needs done, just for lols while doing solo exploring and lower delves in crag I set a vet pledge to search for group and it was still search after a whole evening (was sometime early last week as of this post).

I don't just want a LFG tool. There should be autogrouping a-la destiny.

Go into a group dungeon without a full group? Then you're automatically grouped up with other players.

You have too high expectations for @ZOS. I just hope they are kind enough to at least respond to this thread as IIRC they never did regarding the LFG tool issue.

Grouping tool works fine for me. Max queue time is 20min. And ussualy its alot sooner

20 minutes O_O you wait for 20 minutes? Zonechat, guildchat and friends list is usually much faster, quicker, you often know how they play and can compensate for eachothers weaknesses etc. much more preferable ...unfortunately.

I know games from the 90's with better UI , chat and group tools than this game...

20 minutes? I can sit in there for hours with a healer and will never get a group. It is definitely broken and I don't buy the argument that not enough people are using it and therefore that is why it won't work.

Personally, I think that ZOS should run an event where they ask everyone to use the tool at a specific time and then report on their wait times. And then give out a reward for participating.

I have sat in LFG as a tank. 5 hours later... nothing.

*sigh* I do hear of it often working for people. Unfortunately there's is a huge population that it does NOT work for.

I do try to use it, as I was always a believer it was due to people not using it... but it hasn't actually found me a group for months. With hearing that some people it works in 5-20 minutes (but I can't find groups in 5 hours) leads me to believe it is broken.
