I think it would be marvelous for the crown store to sell color packs and particles for spells and weapons. A nice green bolt of Mage's fury, purple Ambushes, bright blue flames licking around blades. I mean, sure there will be seizures in pvp, but it's a small price for pretty colors!

But paywall spell animations / graphic assets, not for this game, it's already quite confusing in PvP when 100 people are stacked at 5 square meters. Not to mention what performance issues all this fancy particles and stuff would cause.

We already have some of that. Example Mage light, Igneous weapons etc. I say why not so long as it goes in line with the feel of the game. Would not want a situation where a player glows like a flame atronach, though I would love a Xivilai costume like the goblin and skeleton ones you get from quests.

As I fear this will eventually lead to silly "kawaii" swim-suit/schoolgirl outfits and rainbows. Im all against.
