ThatHappyCat✭✭✭✭✭Isn't that damage over 3 seconds? The actual DPS then is about 6.3k, which is actually rather low as it's the equivalent of ~800 DPS in the old system.2 -

22k damage is 7.3k DPS, equivalent to 930 DPS in the old system. That would be considered low for a non-execute DPS, much less an execute one.

deleted221205-002626✭✭✭✭✭Id have to agree its not that OP dps wise... With another temp at yur side doing it as well tho is deadly... As a templar im not use to much dps so it does feel a lil OP.. Might be the mechanics of it... Maybe loger duration or 200% execute instead of 300 might be more realistic0

If a Sorc gets me down to execute range with a bunch of Endless Furies on me I'm probably going to die a swift death, so I'd say it's comparable.1 -

its not a bug, if you keep spamming damage shield, your still alive to get execute damage... if they didnt burn through 10k of damage shields you would have only taken 9k0 -

And? My Assasin's Will can hit for over 20K, but it takes forever to charge up and it's really pretty crap as an overall skill for PvP. 19K over it's duration is hardly anything DPS wise. I'd suggest you do some research into how to improve your survivability in PvP post 1.6. I'd suggest you do some research into how to improve your survivability in PvP post 1.6. I had 1 templar hit me with it for 10k that i interrupted with crushing shock then another hit me with it and killed me. all under 4 seconds. THERE IS NO SURVIVING A SPAMMABLE SOUL STRIKE.0 -

I survived it numerous times last night.....
can we please stop asking for nerfs so prematurely? this is a whole new game, their isn't even any defined meta's yet. I say this as a Sorc who survived numerous RD attempts on his life last night. Lets give things a chance to settle first, see where we are a month from now.

Father✭✭✭Hmmm..you can interrupt templars using the jesus beam. Gap close bash= free stun.
It needs some skill
Tbh impale on my magicka nb does 14k crit execute and that nb was a template with simple gear..so I don't know if jesus beam is more OP or not.
It was already nerfed by zos in 1.6.4 by making it like 2h executioner based on hp lost.0 -

except you can dodge roll mages fury and avoid getting hit by it all together or roll dodge sheild/heal right after the dodge roll cause you still have that 100% miss change from the roll on you for like a second after. mages fury is not close to on par, it doesnt even hit as hard this patch compared to 1.5 and even then mages fury was doing crap damage. oh and not to mention it doesnt go off instantly when you are below 20% life and you heal back to full before it even goes off.Edited by cozmon3c_ESO on March 4, 2015 4:29PMGuild UMBRA Chapter Lead

If you're a light armor build, you should probably be in the process of swapping to a stam build, but crushing shock will defeat the templar execute.

Tough. Set up your build for PvP or go home. The same happens with Radiant Magelight and a bunch of other skills that are better for PVP.

As I said in another thread... its almost as if you need different builds from PvE to PvP... CRAZY.
