The first is this, did the "friends online icon" used to fade away after the chat box faded? It does not seem to go away anymore.
And what was the default setting before? Windowed (Fullscreen) or Fullscreen? Now it seems to be Windowed (Fullscreen) by default? Either way, I am getting slightly lower FPS now. Was Anti-Aliasing turned on by default before?

It did used to fade. They changed that just now in Update 6. I think it's in the UI section of the patch notes.And what was the default setting before? Windowed (Fullscreen) or Fullscreen? Now it seems to be Windowed (Fullscreen) by default?
When they added the Windowed (Fullscreen) option, I think the default was Fullscreen. Now? I have no idea. Sorry!

From the 1.6 patch notes:- The friends icon will remain visible in the chat panel if you have at least one friend online.

The default as always been FULLSCREEN not WINDOWED FULLSCREEN
Anti-Aliasing turned on by default before the patch... Vert Sync was off

Anyone know why they would have made the Friends Online Icon stay lit up all the time now? When I am in dark places I find it to be immersion breaking in an otherwise beautiful UI.

Mpcolson✭✭✭I'm gonna say that it's that way more for future console players. It shows you that you have a contact in the game...go hook up with them.
My kids play PS3 online and the most annoying thing I find is that if I'm watching HULUPlus I still get the pop ups for everyone of their minecraft buddies etc. I WISH I COULD TURN THAT OFF!

CodexMMO✭✭✭I am also noticing that ALT-Tabbing out of the game is not as slick as it used to be. The Windowed Fullscreen mode wants to always stay maximized up in the background. I am running Windows 70
