Here are some nerfs sorcs have been hit with in 1.6:
-Your light armor has been nerfed (both its cost reduction and spell mitigations)
-Nerfed Rebate and added "LOL-YOU LOSE" cast times.
-Increased the costs of your most important hybrid skills by 10%
-Nerfed your Crit Surge heals
-Nerfed the Crushing Shock
-Nerfed Damage Shields
-All the while, we've buffed stamina and other classes to epic proportion
-Remember, we're still going to ensure all your dps is going to be absorbed and reflected.
And there are so many more we will let you discover ...

-Nerfed Rebate and added "LOL-YOU LOSE" cast times. No comment seems harsh
-Increased the costs of your most important hybrid skills by 10% All hybrid skills got hit
-Nerfed your Crit Surge heals
-Nerfed the Crushing Shock Applies to all classes not just sorcs
-Nerfed Damage Shields Applies to all classes
-All the while, we've buffed stamina and other classes to epic proportion Stam needed buff to bring in line with magicka classes is subjective
-Remember, we're still going to ensure all your dps is going to be absorbed and reflected.

Jahosefat✭✭✭✭I knew 1.6 was going to be bad when I was eagerly watching the ESO live to see what sorc changes were going to be to hear: "No we really like the sorc, don't know what you guys are talking about; no cool new abilities for you. And actually we are going to nerf ya some, are you ready?".
I really only enjoy PVE when I'm the tank; and sorc have just been too meh compared to DK/Temp/NB in that department to get me excited enough to do it very much. "Ok I've got a S&B and lightning form slotted; that's all I got. olemanwinter✭✭✭✭✭It's always been pretty clear to me that Zos is unable to maintain a healthy diversity of play-style within the game because there is not a diversity of play-style within the company.
I could be wrong, but I feel like the game changes since launch reflect a "bias" on the part of Zos that shows which builds the majority of the developers play and enjoy.
If it were my company, I would have divided the developers into 4 groups and forced each to play ONLY a specific class to maintain some contrasting viewpoints. Then, if it were my company when we changed the system I would take 1/2 of each group and force them to play ONLY a different class.
Some strategy or mechanism for encouraging an true representation of the game system as a whole.
What I think happens:
All the Devs play all the classes. They find something (like DK) the most fun to play. It has the coolest animations and it's widely considered one of the most powerful classes.
So, they spent a little more time with those. They care a little bit more about those. What was inherently appealing to begin with slowly falls out of balance with the rest.
Then upon releasing the game, the players gravitate towards the OP and fun class. And like one would expect, they fight against it's nerfs and lobby for as much power and features as they can have for their favorite class.
Zos, being a company that appears to care about what the community wants and says, is hard pressed to nerf something like DK when a relatively larger percentage of the customer base is playing DK and considering their own fondness for the class.
This is all speculation, but I believe it's what has contributed to the imbalance.
So, each class got both nerfs and buffs in this new 1.6 relaunch. However, because I doubt that many Devs play Sorc the nerfs seem harsher and the buffs less impressive compared to the DK where the buffs are OP and the nerfs are barely nerfs at all.Edited by olemanwinter on March 3, 2015 8:52PM -

Light arm or nerf, crushing shock nerf and damage shield nerf effect ALL classes, so why are they on the list.
But whilst we are at it, here is a list you mist.
Thundering presence buffed from 8 seconds to 20
Overload light attacks buffed 50% and cost reduced
Atronach 15% damage increase
Daedric Curse damage buffed 25% and AOE damage increased 15%
Twilight damage increased 15%
Shards cast time reduced
Daedric mines damage increased 30%
Mages Fury magika regen increased 25%
Yeah, looks like all these buffs really nerfed the sorc class hard..... End sarcasm.
