Are the blank areas explorable or are there invisible walls? Is that content yet to be created?

There is always content yet to be created. There are already plans for specific blank areas on the map (Wrothgar/Orsinium), and there will definitely be more to come.

Yea, ZOS doesn't pay attention to iOS users. That map doesn't work on Safari which means it doesn't work on iPads iphones.
