Should I sell my pack horse before 1.6?

I do not want all my horses to have packs on them. So should I sell my pack horse before 1.6 or will there be a way to pick what 'extras' my horse displays?

Interesting point! With the riding lessons model, all the mounts a player has will also show the same modifications, which could get a bit bland.

Options to customize mount appearances would be nice -- though I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for them, given everything else ZOS is working on (i.e., just about everything).

The option would be nice if its not already in place. I dont think it is so thought I would ask in case I missed it. 1.6 is getting close I think, so I guess I should just sell that horse before it goes live.

I agree, I hate the way the packs look and do not want them on all of my mounts. Would be great to be able to customize them. If not, bye bye pack horsey.

There are no ways to current pick what "extras" your horse displays. It's very funky running around with a max speed and max pack horse.

However, it would be extremely stupid to sell your pack horse. Do you really not value two months of your time spent upgrading that thing? Seriously?

I thought a while back they commented that giving an appearance option was something they were looking at doing- but since it's not in yet I doubt it will be for quite some time. Would be very happy if someone from ZOS wanted to chime in and prove me wrong though.

I will say, the packs are more subtle on the guar mount, and we don't know what they'll look like on the senche. But, if you absolutely can't stand the packs, and want them off now... that might not be a legitimate option.

Personally, I wouldn't mind the packs one bit if they looked like actual saddle bags. Just seems they went the lazy option and threw backpacks on them and they look terrible, so ugly.

For me, my pack horse is the imperial, so i only spent 1 gold on it, plus the everyday cost for 20 days, which is no biggie. I'd much rather delete it and start over, i like the extra space but can live without it for 19 days purely for cosmetics.

Ya, I just really dont like the way they look. They are just backpacks stuck on the side. They look unfinished. If they remade them to look like actual saddle bags, they might not be so bad. My only pack horse is on an imperial horse, so I didnt spend anything to get the horse in the first place. Just the money to upgrade it, witch to me is insignificant.

Me too! Well, I did it. Got rid of all my pack horses. It wasnt too painful until I logged on to one character to find that it had a black pack horse that one hurt a bit.
