Am I holding the Tamriel world record for most daily VET pledges and no Blood spawn shoulders?

Am I the current Tamriel title holder for most dailies without a single pair of Blood spawn shoulders or is there another champion out there?

First and foremost, I do not enjoy PvE. When these undaunted sets first appeared, I set my eyes immediately on the blood spawn set for PvP. No other set could really compare imo.

58 VET gold keys later I find myself with every other pair of shoulders (5 pair of Nerienéth) and no Bloow spawn. Am I the unlucky champion? Perhaps they should add an achivement for this.


Any other contenders for the title? How many runs did you do?

I calculated the "drop chance" (from the chest) based on my own loot. I have an average chance of 15,3% getting a pair of shoulders when I open that chest. If you divide that with 9 (for each pair of undaunted shoulders you could get) you get a chance of 1,7% to get a specific pair such as Blood spawn.

By 60 runs you should have it if you arent really unlucky which you apparently have been

90 runs, I have been de-throned.

That's some harsh RNG that is. I hope you've been stockpiling gold keys the last few weeks because the word is 1.6 ups the drop rate significantly and removes Sturdy from the trait pool.

43 Gold Keys and I have never gotten the shoulders for Spawn of Mephala, Maw of the Infernal, Engine Guardian, or Valkyn Skoria. Expecting to have all of them after 58 keys is not realistic. I actually think you have been very lucky if you have gotten at least 11 shoulders (1 of each except Blood Spawn + 4 extra Nerienth) out of 58 Gold keys. That is a much higher rate than anyone else I know. Bad luck that you have not gotten the exact one you want, but good luck to get so many.

Dunno how many keys between two v14s, but I've gotten two Nerien'eth shoulders, Valykn Skoria, Engine Guardian, Malubeth, Mephala.

Helmets, Valkyn, Engine Guardian, Malubeth, Mephala..

I deconned the Mephala as it's the single worst set in the entire game... But I've probably only run 20-25 dungeons across both characters

Still need to grind out the Nerien'eth helmet for my Templar and Bloodspawn shoulders/helm for my DK.

I have only been doing the pledges recently because i see PvP lots of these sets running around. So i also want a go. Got only crap items. I saved 3 keys for after 1.6 though.

I made pledges just to get the undauted passives and i got one of that item. Iam not a lucky guy either..

I'm at something like 360-380 gold keys (I do them on 3-4 characters). I have yet to get Spawn of Mephala Shoulders. It's not that I need them badly or feel like rage-quitting, I just find it strange.

There's also some shoulders, like Engine Guard or Nerien'eth, where I only have one pair after that many keys.

Bloodspawn Shoulders took me about 100 keys or a bit over a month, but again I get multiple gold keys.

Currently saving keys for 1.6. Seems like ZoS actually noticed how few shoulders some people where getting. Higher chance of shoulders and no sturdy trait, is very much appreciated

I also suggest that Silver Key gets chance of shoulders, smaller than gold of course and blue/arcane quality. Because no one does the Silver key, after they get max Undaunted. Opening bronze- or silver chest, is more of a punishment than a reward.

I dunno, I have almost a dozen of bloodspawn shoulders and probably 1/2 droprate of the head part in spindleclutch, but other sets... It seems that blood spawn set is the only set I am having luck with.

Shoulder drop rate is supposed to double in 1.6.x, so save your keys.

I'm missing a version of one helm and one shoulder. Finding the ideal version is a whole other story.
